It is so refreshing to be helped by an employee/associate with such passion and positivity. Mikey assisted my family and I in the paint department this afternoon. That man deserves a raise! He was so insightful and knowledgeable and aided us in picking out the best supplies for furniture painting. He even engaged with our children, which he did not have to. He gave service above and beyond! Will be back when he is working.

I went to Lowes to pick up a few items. Trash bags, batteries, weed Wacker supplies, and an outlet. Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. The self checkout had lines . I ask if there were any cashiers open . He said 2. One in garden center one in the contractor area. Both lines had over 10 people in line. No effort was made to open anther one. I'm handicap Ed. I cannot stand for long periods of time. There was no checkouts for handicap people or people with 5 idems or less. I was standing behind a contractor that had well over $500 of merchandise. Sign says over the cashier spot that if more than 5 people are in line they would open another. Never happened. I'm absolutely disgusted with these stores not making cashiers & making people go to self checkout. They are part of why unemployment is going up. I always see a customer or machine malfunction. Un excusable!!!

If you are considering using Lowes for installation of windows and doors- spend more and go elsewhere. 18 months and a ruined kitchen floor later, we have windows and a sliding glass door- but not because of their customer service or installation assistance . We finally settled on an amount of reimbursement for the damage and breech of contract & here we are 3 weeks later & they have no record of cutting payment. 18 months! Our warranty was up before the project was complete- riddle me that? Installation management said, "the buck stops here- we will get it to you when we get it to you!". Please save the headache and aggravation-wish we would have read reviews prior.

No bags! Note: not "No PLASTIC bags," but no bags of ANY kind! Apparently, the manager has decided to use Philly's prohibition on plastic bags as an excuse to save some pennies and downgrade customer convenience. Suggestion - should you ever be foolish enough to shop here, buy some stuff, pay for it, and then refuse to leave the checkout line until a manager hand-carries your stuff to your car. Make some noise. Be rude. A little civil disobedience is called for here. Management will soon learn that it's cheaper to provide paper bags, or cloth bags, or hand-carved mahogany boxes, than it is to carry items to customers' cars.
