An employee named Joshua helped us today measure and cut a bunch of shelving for us. Joshua was friendly, professional and super helpful. I will come back to this Lowe's solely because of the way he treated us. Thank you again Joshua for being so great.

Cashiers here are rude and extremely unhelpful. Usually go here because it's convenient but each time I go to the checkout, I'm made to feel like I'm stealing inventory or simply wasting their time.I've had one cashier regularly come over and maneuver her way through all of the times as I'm scanning them, tossing them wherever she feels. If you don't trust your customers, STOP FORCING THEM TO SCAN ALL OF THEIR OWN ITEMS. Please Lowes, open a cash register for your staff, they are very bored.

It was a nightmare dealing with delivery from Lowe's. I bought a refrigerator and scheduled delivery for the next Saturday. On Friday night we were told that delivery would be between 9 am and 1 pm.At 2pm on Saturday I had no refrigerator and called to see what was going on. They said the delivery guy had no where to park so he left??? Lowe's is in South Philly and I live in South Philly. They must deliver in the area every day. What kind of stupid response is that?? Plus, no one bothered to call me to tell me, so I sat around waiting for nothing!The delivery people blamed Lowe's. When I called Lowe's they blamed the delivery people. Now I rescheduled and we'll see if they follow through this time and deliver!

Roughly 7 months ago I purchased a front door and a security door from Lowes. Everything was fine until the installer noticed that there was a hole in the screen. He gave us instruction on how to get a replacement screen. We followed those instructions. So, seven months later after multiple times of calling Lowes and visiting them only to get the same run around, "we can't find your order", "we delivered the screen to your house", "the screen door is in the warehouse", "it will be delivered by UPS", "the installer is delivering it today". They finally got the screen door in their store. But wait, after picking it up and taking it home IT"S THE WRONG SCREEN DOOR LOL.... You cannot make this stuff up. There is something really wrong with the Lowe's store in Southwest on Columbus Blvd. Now let's talk about something else. I purchased a $6,000 shed from Lowe's, once again everything with well. But six months after the shed was installed my weeping willow fell on it and destroyed it. Ok, no problem my home insurance paid for the replacement. Ok, so I called Lowe's and ordered the exact same shed, paid for it and thought everything was good. Well two weeks later I received a call from the builder the Lowe's contract out to, Backyard builder. They informed me that I will need to get a permit. Now understand I did not need a permit six months earlier. But I said OK, no problem and paid the extra cost. Now I'm waiting and waiting and calling and going to the store to see what the hold is, only to get the exact same run around, "we're waiting to the permit" now it has been three months and still no permit. Now, I know the city of Philly is slow at some things but really. So, I call the city to see what the problem was and why is it taking so long to get this permit. Guess what, they never receive any request for a permit for my address. Lowe's and their contracted company never sent the request. So, I call Lowe's to questioned why it was not sent, they put me in touch with Backyard builder and they swore that they sent the request for a permit but didn't know why it was taking so long. So, while I was speaking with Backyard and called the city on two way and luckily, I got the same person that I spoke with before and she told Backyard that they (the city) never received any request from them (Backyard) and they went on back and forth for about 5 mins. Until Backyard all of a sudden saw on the computer screen that they really didn't submit the request because Lowe's didn't provide all of the info, nor did they send my payment for the permit to Backyard. I say all of this just to say. Do not go to Lowe's in southwest Philly. The workers simply do not want to do their jobs and always pass you along to the next person. The whole store needs to be retrained. I will never shop at this store again; I will go to Home Depot or anywhere else, but I will never shop at any Lowe's store again. They call themselves Lowe's Home Improvement, well I call the Lowe's Home Disappointment.

Employees are unhelpful and disrespectful. Will ignore you completely or answer your questions in a sarcastic manner. Do something about the employee in Plumbing. If you need assistance or wish to get supplies, go to Home Depot.

This Lowe’s location tends to be well-staffed, with employees who are both helpful and knowledgeable. Otherwise it’s a pretty standard Lowe’s location; it carries everything you expect a Lowe’s to carry and it’s organized just like every other Lowe’s. One benefit is that it is collocates with multiple other stores, including IKEA. This clustering makes it easy to get to Lowe’s without sacrificing another trip because you’re traveling to an isolated location. Also there’s a weird security robot in the parking lot that offers minutes of amusement, as a plus.

I recently went to lowes just to grab 1 item while I am inside the store I am approached by a Manager by the name of Mike. Mike tells me if I fill up my cart with clearance item he can take 75% off all my items i say ok and continue Meanwhile I notice there 75% off sign all around the store and none of the signs say i have to fill my cart with clearance items. I grab my 2 items and i head over to the checkout. One of the items is from the Clearance section and i asked will you honor the 75% discount on the clearance item. I was told again that I had to fill my cart with clearance items I asked the Lowes associate while her and Mike the Manager were on the phone together does this discount apply to all items in store with clearance sticker they said Yes. 3 hour later I have a cart full of items all on clearance and Manager Mike and the Lowes associate nowhere to be found basically i couldn't get the 75% off my cart full of clearance items. they third party selling you shit that never comes for months. but they'll take your money without a problem. they won't tell your dates or anything. just bunch a run around. whoever they use for garage doors needs to be fired. whoever signed the fucking contract to bring them on should be fired. and those ppl responsible for keeping up with those third party companies that are taking lowes customers m should be fired too.

Extremely rude staff in lumber department that refused to cut wood for me in order for it to fit in the car. Told me they only cut plywood even though I have had other materials cut at Lowe’s many times. Could not be bothered to help me. Going to Home Depot where I’m sure I will be able to get the same item.

Would be 5 if they organized their plywood section, and didn't have attitude about cutting. There is one gentleman, a black guy who is like sure, no pblm. For others it's like I'm annoying them for the service.

I generally have been going to the other mega hardware place. Mostly because I can get a quick Rocco’s sandwich there. ? Customer service at this Lowe’s is excellent. I will definitely be back.
