Please take my word for it that I am a private person in general. I want to share this personal information because the Mcafferty family deserves it. My wife and I were expecting our first child recently. My Wife was about 6 months pregnant when we found out our daughter no longer had a heart beat. This was a shock to us and I personally have never dealt with the cremation process or a funeral home in general. The first time I reached out to Mcafferty I spoke directly with Mark and explained our situation. From that moment until the process was over Mcafferty was there for my wife and I for every big and little step of the way. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner. It has become clear to me this is not just a business to them. I will spare you all the details but they went out of their way to accommodate us multiple times which I hope you can take my word for again. I spoke with Mark’s wife and I am familiar with other members of the family/funeral home. They are all the same as Mark. If you want your loved one who passed on to be treated with love, dignity and respect I can personally guarantee you will receive all of that and more with the Mcafferty family.

This place was by far the best that I’ve been too. Mark and his wife were amazing. From start to finish. I Had so many questions and they both answered w/o any hesitation. My LOVE one (M. Powell) was laid to rest and they did a spectacular job on him. Customer service at its best. Thanks guys 10/2/2025.

A Truely Compassionate and Professional Experience
McCafferty Funeral Home made 2 unexpected difficult moments in our lives more bearable. From the very first phone call they showed genuine empathy, patience and professionalism. Every detail - from the arrangements to the ceremony - was handled with care and respect.
The staff went above and beyond to ensure our family felt supported. They all were incredibly kind and attentive, always available to answer our questions and guide us through the process.
What stood out most was how they honored my niece and my mother's memory in a way that felt personal and meaningful.
The service was beautiful and organized and every interaction left us feeling heard and cared for.
I'm deeply grateful to Mark and his compassionate staff for helping us navigate this emotional time with grace. I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a funeral home that treats you like family.

The McCafferty family cannot receive a recommendation or star review high enough that captures who they are and the service they provide.
Planning a funeral for a loved one is probably one of the most difficult things we can experience in life. Balancing the emotional gut wrenching loss, trying to keep things together for the rest of the family and attempting to make the funeral match the significance of the loved one- all simultaneously- is overwhelming.
That’s until the McCafferty family gets involved. With empathy and grace, they meet with you, learn about your loved one, gain a sense of what your thoughts are and then say ‘Ok, you focus on your family and yourself- we’ve got all this.’ That means all of it- the flowers, coordinating the service, speaking with the priest, arranging transportation, communicating with the cemetery, confirming the luncheon- and anything else on the list.
And they get everything right- in fact, beyond right and beyond your expectations.
The loss of your mom is not something you get over, but when you are proud of her day of remembrance it makes things easier. That’s the way I feel and I owe that to the McCafferty family.

Everyone at McCafferty are so very pleasant. They are kind, efficient, professional and did an amazing job. The communication from Mark and Lisa was amazing and they exceeded my expectations with the work they did before, during and after the process. I have no way of returning the favor of thanking you for all that you did. I highly recommend if u have a loss in your family that u use their services they are caring and thoughtful.
