Joel Langdon of State Farm in Mount Joy was my first insurance agent, I was just a newborn baby to young parents. Joel helped my young parents navigate the insurance world and assisted them in finding affordable life insurance for the three of us. Joel’s office always provided stellar customer service over the years. I left the Lancaster area and moved to Philly. We started again with State Farm because of my previous relationship with Joel, and when we had renter’s insurance we appreciated Mike’s hospitality so much we decided to expand with home and auto insurance.
As the years went on, we finally came into a situation where we needed to file a claim due to an unfortunate accident where the neighbor’s contractor caused extensive damage to our house. Mike guided me through the process and we thought we were in our way.
During this process, the claims department of State Farm failed me numerous times over the course of a few months. I was getting no where with the claims process. So, I decided to reach out to Mike and his team; FYI your insurance agent doesn’t handle claims, I already knew this but they can be your advocate. So, I reached out to Mike’s office for help. Mike and his staff were unyielding in their communication and support. With the backing of Mike and his team, we were able to gain ground and get through the claims process with greater success.
I was on the brink of feeling hopeless and Mike’s team brought me back! We are now on our way to making repairs!

Ashleigh Cole has been amazing. I’ve moved twice and bought and sold cars in my short time here in Philly, and she has been on the ball and very helpful through it all. I have been a State Farm Customer for over a decade and find that their services, regardless of agent or location, always exceed expectations. The team is prompt, friendly and takes the time to make sure your needs are met. Unexpected accidents are always stressful. Michael’s team does their best to take on that stress so that the customer doesn’t have to.

I have only a small tenants insurance policy with Michael and I am amazed at the high level of service he provides. He responds within the day, researches questions thoroughly, takes the time to explain options and enacts changes smoothly and quickly. And always in a relaxed, friendly way. I feel a little guilty taking so much time when I’m paying so little money. I wish I had more stuff to insure!
