I had Andy Snover as a teacher for 2 weeks and he raised my score around 200 points. During those 2 weeks I took a test each day, and would spend the sessions going over every thing I got wrong until I had learned every part of the SAT. I believe if I took another test without more preparation I would get a higher score, due to my practice tests being higher than my actual score

Andy Snovner was great with my SAT prep. He really helped me break down the process for any questions with which I struggled, especially in English. He was always patient and I never felt rushed in the session. I worked with him once a week all summer and then for the other 6 days I worked on all the worksheets and practice SAT’s. I was hoping to only have to take the SAT once before my junior year began, but believed that I’d have to take it multiple times. I was so happy when my results came in after my first try which enabled me to never have to take the SAT again.

I worked with Andy Snover on the SAT. My score went up more than 300 points and wouldn't have been able to do it without the tutoring I received from Andy. Andy pushed me to work harder and do more to be able to see the outcomes that I did.

Working with Andy Snover at MJ Test Prep was a great experience. With Andy's help, I increased my SAT score by almost 300 points. What I found particularly helpful about the process was the comprehensive review of every kind of problem seen on the exam. I had access to so many practice packets and exams that I felt I had mastered each concept by test day.

Andy Snover was my SAT tutor and I could not have asked for someone better. I have always been a strong test taker, but struggled with standardized tests. Thank to Andy I was able to bring up my SAT score to a 1560. The program Andy designed was specifically tailored to me, giving me one on one tips and supplemental work that was not only effective, but efficient. If I messed up a problem or was stuck I never felt embarrassed. Rather, I comfortable because I knew Andy would help mend my issue in a manner that expressed genuine care. Overall, I am more than happy with my experience and would recommend.

Andy Snover is a great tutor. He tutored me for the ACT starting the summer before my junior year and continuing until the spring. With his help, I increased my ACT score by six points- ending up with a strong score that helped me gain admission to my first choice college. Andy is good at breaking down complicated concepts and he kept our sessions interesting and even fun. He helped me work out a good study schedule and stay motivated to do ACT prep on top of homework, school and athletics. I would recommend Andy for anyone who wants to boost their standardized test scores.

MJ Test Prep did a great job preparing me for the SAT. I worked with Andy Snover and was able to increase my score by over 300 points. The strategies and methods that I learned were really helpful and made me feel prepared to take the SAT. Andy always had tips and strategies to help me deal with problems that I struggled with. The practice tests and packets that were given to me made me feel like I had already taken the test plenty of times. MJ Test Prep developed my test taking skills and taught me things that I wouldn't be able to learn elsewhere.

MJ Test Prep was the best thing for helping me achieve my goal score on the SAT. I worked with Andy as my tutor and the combination of his explanations when going over practice tests, and the homework he gave me each week really helped me be as prepared as possible. I went from only knowing some questions and having to guess on others to understanding all aspects of the test, ultimately reaching my goal of 1500+.

I worked with both Matt Joseph and Andy Snover for SAT tutoring. My score went up by over 350 points and I learned a lot of test taking skills in general that can be applied anywhere in life. I got into the university I wanted to go to ED and had a stress free second semester of senior year which I can definitely partially attribute to the help I received at MJ! The practice tests and packets as well as advice during in person meetings were super helpful.

I had a great experience with MJ Test Prep. My tutor was Andy Snover and he taught very well, confidently making tricky questions seem clear. My score went up 300 points after just 3 months. The materials at MJ Test Prep are great - they condense similar questions together into packets so the students can really nail it. After seeing the same type of question 100 times, I felt confident answering it on the real SAT. They only use questions from past SATs, which made the homework practice packets as accurate as possible to the real test. Could not recommend enough!

MJ Test Prep was incredibly helpful in preparing me for my SAT. Andy helped guide me into achieving a 1560! Every meeting propelled my ability and helped me better understand the test, including my strengths and weaknesses. The advice and homework he gave me fixed my weaknesses and improved my strengths while not overloading myself. The advice he gave was clear cut and easy to understand. No meeting was boring or too much thanks to Andy’s tutoring style and joyful personality.

Absolute pros... Individual tutoring is the best in the area. SAT/ACT boot camps are the best deals by far... and their prep classes gives our kids the best chances for improving scores.
