Many vegan and gluten free products, some that are difficult to find elsewhere.

I took a walk to MOM's from work because my local Giant and the Heirloom Giant on 8th and Market does not carry the Ezekiel Tortillas I was in need of. I knew MOM's was a little bit further and sold a lot of organic products, so I took a roll of the dice and won. MOM's is on the smaller side of the major chain supermarkets but still has a rather large selection of products. They've been in business since 1987 and have several stores up and down the east coast. All produce is certified organic, they have "banned" 250 ingredients from their stores, and they "take into account animal welfare, the environmental and social impact of products, and more." The store has a whole bulk section where you can fill your bag and pay for exactly what you need. They have a beauty section that all products are cruelty free and they give preference to organic and fair-trade products. They have tea leaves by the ounce. There's even a whole recycling area where you can drop off old sneakers, cork, denim, etc. and for the time being, Christmas lights! I found the layout to be simple and easy to navigate, clean and well lit, and a bit industrial as it is in a warehouse-like building. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Prices I felt overall were reasonable, if not on the high side. If you're conscious about how your products get to the supermarket and how they are made, MOM's takes a lot of that work away from you and you can rest assured that the products you buy here are usually going to be better than what you'll find elsewhere. You may not find all the brands you want or are used to, but someone made them a match for MOM's. Hopefully, you'll like that brand.

The concept Mom’s is built on is commendable & though I feel like I spend an arm & half a leg when I shop here, I feel like it’s money well spent supporting this establishment. I’ve been vegan since the early 1990’s, so I’m no stranger to health food stores, this place reminds me of old school neighborhood organic markets but on a larger scale. When I’m here I’m picking up produce, seitan, tofurkey products, plant milk, vegan burgers, protein bars & powder/vegan supplements & laundry detergent. They also carry a variety of vegan jerky that a lot of their competing grocers stopped carrying, happy to still be able to pick up Primal Strips here! If you’re living downtown it’s conveniently located.

Went to charge my Tesla and remembered how much I love this spot. Got some high quality Tahini and other items that were reasonably priced. Their produce reminds me of WF before the Amazon buy out. Super fresh and exquisite variety. Please visit! Gems like this are getting so rare.

What a fantastic organic market! Love this grocery store. I wish it was around when I lived in Philly regularly... but, now that I know it exists, I make it a point of going in whenever I'm in town. The store is presented well, very clean and have a nice selection of varieties food items that you won't find in most places. The folks working there are both friendly, helpful and professional.

The human body cannot digest exoskeletons yet this organic market has an e tire section and is pushing crickets and other bug foods that will harm the human body. Say no to this unhealthy and harmful store that obviously is in bed with the FDA.

As soon as me and my bf entered, a tall and scary guard kept following us. He was there at the entrance, he was there at the round about, he was there near the chips section and he was there at the checkout. At first we thought it’s a coincidence but it definitely wasn’t, he made sure we will never come to MOM’s again. There were not that many people in the store, so it was definitely us he kept following! Do better guard, follow some white people next time

They are more similar to Sprouts on Broad Street than Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Great options for Vegans, vegetarians, gluten free & other specialty diets. But ...the options are mostly frozen or shelf items. Limited fresh produce in the front.

Absolutely love this store. Definitely prefer it for organic and natural products. But the parking garage attendant tries to deny parking and damn near interrogates you. I don't want to stop coming here but that may keep me from coming back

Many options to choose from-grab and go and fresh made juices. Couldn't decide what to get and could have walked around for hours.

Love this place. It's a bit on the expensive side, but the food quality is always great and I've discovered some great vegan and organic choices. They have a great selection of choices for many things, and they're always super friendly. One of my favorite places to shop.

I love this grocery store! It's cheaper and has much better produce than Whole Foods and sprouts.

This store has really gone down hill. I have shopped here since it opened. In the beginning, they offered complimentary coffee. They had free sampling. You could get a gallon of reverse osmosis water for free per visit. They would have ice packs to help keep the food cold. They used to have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was an enjoyable experience. That is all gone. In its place are security guards that act bizarre and make you uncomfortable.( I had a friend walk out recently since the guard started following him! I had to ask a guard to move because he was sitting inside the water machine and had an attitude! A 3rd time I had to ask for a manager when the guard started acting strange towards me! ( I read lables which apparently is suspicious - the manager did nothing!) All these guys have guns! I don't mind if they stare at me, but please be nice and leave me alone! This has really changed the atmosphere of the store. Staff is now poorly trained. Management doesn't care and has no presence in the store. Produce is not as fresh and local as it once was. They charge for paper bags now. I still was shopping frequently until they kept running out of raw milk (5-6 days a week they will be out). The manager showed no interest in looking for another vendor telling me to write corporate. The owner is non- existent. He doesn't appear to care. (read the MANY reviews documenting the harassment and racism guests receive at his store without doing anything about it!) Trader Joe's, Sprouts and Reading Terminal (they sell raw milk) now get most of my business. It feels welcoming there.

It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. They had an impressive selection of organic items, the store was very clean and prices were reasonable
