Our car rental started off good but quickly turned when the cabin filled up with strong exhaust fumes. I called National and the only option we had was to return to the airport we got it from. I disagreed with the decision since it became a safety issue now. The National representative I talked to was very rude and did not apologize for the inconvenience. Eventually, we got a replacement car but was downgraded from a midsize SUV to a compact one. I was still charged the same and at the end of the rental period, they didn’t take the fuel level of the replacement car into account and was charged a refueling fee. So, a 48 hour rental that should have gone smoothly, National made the whole experience difficult. Never again!!!

Not the greatest. Front USB charger didn't work, and although they offered to swap cars, they need to make sure everything is working ahead of time for their customers. Biggest gripe - and this has been experienced the last 2 times we rented - absolute slowest check out at the exit gate. It took 20 minutes each time, and last time we were the only one in line. They definitely need to address that process and do better.

Frequent shuttle service to and from the airport. Good selection of cars, vans and SUVs in Emerald Aisle. Had a slight glitch with my contract rate, was taken care of immediately by Jordy Vaughn the Station Manager. Outstanding customer service.

I once again had a great experience with National Car Rental. Their people are so friendly and helpful! I needed to make a last minute change because of weather. No problem. And they had the vehicle I wanted, it was clean and in perfect working order. I asked if someone could help me with the navigation system and yep, a very helpful woman came out and walked me through it. I’m definitely sticking with National.

My company uses National Rental. I have tried to use other rental companies and they pail in comparison. I rent cars multiple times per month. To be able to skip the lines and ticket counters, pick the car I want, get in it, and drive off has saved me so much time on numerous occasions. When I return the car, the staff is quick to check the car and close the ticket. They offer me a paper receipt or an email. They are efficient at their job and do not hinder me from catching my flight. I will continue using National Rental.

I really like using National for my rental cars. They are always competitively priced, and they generally let me pick my own car from what's available without waiting in line. There are some exceptions in smaller airports. They get you into a car and out of the airport quickly and painlessly. My only criticism would be expiring free days in the loyalty program.

I love National Car Rental. Unfortunately, my company does not support them or I would use them all the time. Whenever I am paying for the rental myself, I only use National. Being a member of their loyalty program allows me to go pick my car and often get a better vehicle than I had reserved. The staff is always a pleasure to work with and they get me checked in and on my way. Thanks for making my rental experience such a pleasant one.

The Emerald Aisle is the easiest and most convenient thing in my car rental experience. I travel weekly and have rented with many companies this year. National is the best value hands down. The cars are clean and ready and National has the friendliest and fastest service. With the Emerald Aisle, I just choose my car and go. Now that I know, I will always use National.

I use National Car Rental frequently for business and their attention to detail is quite amazing. Upbeat, friendly and polite describe the action of the National Team. Last trip through Philadelphia I left my roller-bag on the rental bus and didn't miss it until end of day and 200 miles away. Entered the lost info online and started to receive update emails almost at once. The following afternoon I received a call from Ms. Anara at Lost & Found. She had found my luggage. She was the one who also had found the bag, took it to L&F and called me. Not often you receive a personal call these days! Thanks Anara and team - this made my week and reinforced why I do business with National!

Pickup was flawless, as usual. Biggest issue was drop off. I got an email the day after I dropped off the car asking when I was going to return it. You can imagine my panic. I have them my gas receipt and the approximate time I dropped off. They said they’d take care of it. I assume they found the car because I haven’t heard they didn’t!

National Car rental is no nonsense, highly competent, and reasonably priced. I just like their efficiency, quality, and product. They are my first choice when I have rental car needs.

Excellent experience. Well staffed (two people at the desk, one at the door to answer questions and point you to your car), efficient, friendly. Also kudos to the shuttle service and driver. In the past I've rented from other agencies at this airport, but I'm never going back.
