“Bought an engagement ring to propose and took forever for me to get her size without her knowing it. I finally was able to get it and was looking at rings and found the one. Price was good and the clerk there was nice. I paid for it and put in for sizing to 7 and a half. The ring was a 8 and a half, (which would mean removal of some material, gold, reconnect and polish). They told me a day to pick it up and I figured out my plans to pop the question. I go pickup my purchase and hide it till the weekend and I pop the question, go to put the ring on and too big. So I think, I messed up on sizing her finger. Take it to a local jeweler and they size her finger , 7 to 7 and a half. Now they size the ring, and it is a 10 and a half… WTH… How do they do that?? Update: Just got off of the phone with them and they sent me a credit for resizing cost and made it right. Which they did not have to do..”
