I always come to pearls and the seafood is always outstanding here at the terminal market. The owners know us especially for loving to come down to the terminal and get our usual here. Will always come back ?.

There was no line yet I stood there waiting to order while 3 different staff members looked at me with no acknowledgment, then busted themselves cleaning the counter and fixing napkins before asking If I needed help with anything.

I look forward to coming to Pearl's Oyster Bar when I'm at the Reading Terminal Market -- it's my favorite place to eat. I love the fried oysters! The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is fun, especially when you sit at a table facing the market's aisles and people-watch while you eat.

Quality food at an affordable price with decent portions, one of the best breakfast joints in the cityPictured: Breakfast platter including eggs over easy, savory pork rolls, crisp home fries, and buttery, not-too-sweet French toast

Overpriced garbage!!.Extremely stingy on portion, home fries were a small garnishment of tiny dried out miniature hush puppies with no flavor ! Eggs were cold and nasty !$4 upcharge for French toast and I got one small slice of bread !I had to beg for jelly !! After asking for it initially. The guy taking orders has absolutely no people skills and is only concerned with the money !Absolutely disgusting customer service, Definitely will be sticking with the Dutch breakfast counter near Beilers Donuts, they have way bigger portions, real homefries and a lot friendlier towards paying customers !!

Happy hour is a must. Can be noisy and often bursting at the seams, but a nice spot to grab a drink and/or a bite with friends. Oysters is the draw for me. The rest of the menu is somewhat underwhelming. Service is attentive. Definitely worth stopping in.

1 star because the option for delivery should be removed if delivery isn't available. AND WHY are you on doordash if you're never "open" for delivery/orders on there ?

Although I normally enjoy the fried oysters at pearls. I was disappointed at how small they were yesterday. 6 oysters 30.00 dollars and they were the size of a quarter. I think they should reduce the price when they know the oysters are small. It’s important to keep your best customers coming back. Got me questioning if I should.

"Eat Oysters Love Longer" -- As an oyster fiend I knew I had to enjoy some oysters while travelling to the east coast. Pearl's Oyster Bar is located inside of the Reading Terminal Market and they have diner style seating and a few tables. Since I was alone I decided to get the Small Raw Bar Sampler ($42) to try a bit of everything since it comes with 8 oysters, 4 clams, and 4 shrimp cocktails. Service was questionable. It took a while to get me the order too. When I asked which oysters they were they waitress was like umm these are from Massachusetts and these are from New Jersey and the clams are Littleneck Clams from Virginia. Very nonspecific. Like what breed, what farm? Not just what state. Also the reason I dinged them on the rating is POOR SHUCKING. You guys are an oyster bar. This is unacceptable. There were visible shells floating on some and some of these oysters and clam got super cut up. Basically an example platter of what not to do. The shrimp was the best thing on the platter and the clams came second. I didn't really enjoy the oysters. Maybe they accidentally washed out the natural brine cause it was so bland, and not that salty briny taste I get from east coast oysters. Please train your staff on how to shuck an oyster properly and better explain to the customer what they purchased.

I had not noticed this terrific little bar in the Reading Terminal. I had the fried oysters and what a treat!!! Plump oysters (not the tails!), along with excellent fries and coleslaw. Can’t wait to go back!!
