If I could give 0 stars, I would. Made an appointment for a state inspection for 12:00PM. I dropped my car off early at 11:30AM, and at 2:45PM when I called for an update because it was supposed to be ready at 2:00, I was told they were just starting the inspection. About another 90 mins later, of course I was told there were things that were wrong with my car (a 2019 car that only has 20,000 miles on it), but if I didn't pay I would not pass inspection and they would charge me the inspection anyway. WAY overpriced, staff are SLOW, terrible at communicating, and absolutely inconsiderate. Save your money and find somewhere else.

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE!! I wanted a state inspection. I sat and waited for 5 HOURS, and left with NO inspection. On top of that, this place lost my registration form only for ME to find it in the TRASH CAN! I was told that there is only 1 person that does inspections. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. During my visit, the staff was: 1. Unprofessional 2. SLOW 3. No communication A pure waste of time! There are other local auto places who can do the same things in 20 minutes. PLEASE, call around and save yourself time like I did. This is a horrible place to go, and the staff is extremely unprofessional!

Do not go here. Your appointment time will be 4 hours after you schedule it. Awful. The employees are nice, but the time it took to do an inspection was comical

Horrible experience at this location. Down from the store manager to the assistance manager. I requested the District manager name and they refused to provide it. Stating it’s not Pepboys policy. I will be writing a formal complaint because they double charged for the same service and refuse to refund it. Never again and just avoid Pepboys all together.

My visit to Pep Boys on Columbus Boulevard was Initially for a state inspection, but I ended up needing to replace all four tires. When a small issue arose with the tire installation, Erik, ultimately stepped in to resolve it, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. Also there is a lady at the front desk that is very funny and always super professional If you're in Philly and need car service, I recommend Pep Boys on Columbus Boulevard. The combination of Eriks effective management and the staff's friendly approach makes this place stand out.

Only take your car here for an inspection if you want them to force stuff on you to pass inspection. Was told my tires were dry rotted and were in danger of blowing out on the road and could not pass the inspection and needed 4 new tires. Not suprised a tire shop is trying to force new tires. My tires are two years old and have MINIMAL rot markings on the side wall, far from blowing out. Here’s a picture for reference on the “dangerously rotted tires”.

My experience at this location was excellent. The system was refined so I could follow the progress from start to finish. The job was completed before the estimated time. My work order was handled by the assistant manager and she did an excellent job for me.

I was pleased with the outcome. Processional service and good work. It took a while to get the initial exam (~2 hours) despite an appointment, but once I gave the okay to do the work, it was done quickly.

worst service ever . manager (woman) doesn't care about customers. They couldn't change two tires on my car in a whole day. when I came in the evening and saw that nothing had been fixed yet. The employees didn't even apologize
