I waited over 30 minutes on the phone without even being put on hold by a real person before I gave up. This is an animal hospital that is supposed to deal with urgent care- waiting over 30 minutes without anyone picking up is not urgent care.

I use to like this place however had a bad experience with them, the Vet fast talking acting as if he really cared, gave me medicine for 2wks for my cat, she passed the next morning, I would have preferred him be honest and said she will not live long instead of giving me medicine for her when he knew it was for nothing. Rude workers when ask questions. No going back ever.

My 17 year old Cockapoo had a seizure on Friday. I took him to the Philadelphia Animal Hospital. Blood work was done on him and a I.V. was put in. The vet told me to make an appointment to bring him back in two weeks and I was giving pills to give him once a day. When I put him in the car I noticed that his leg was wrapped up, I figured that must have been where the needle was inserted for the I.V. Late that night I noticed that the I.V. was still in his leg. I called PAH in the morning and told the receptionist about the I.V. being left there. She said please hold while I go talk to one of the doctors. She came back to the phone and apologized for that happening and asked me to bring him in so someone can take it out. It takes me 45 minutes to get there. I do not live in Philadelphia. We were called to one of the rooms and a tech took out the I.V. I asked her if something could be taken off the bill that I paid yesterday for this happening. She said she will ask the owner. She came back and told me that the owner said no because the I.V. was left in him just in case I had to bring him back today. I said to her then why didn’t anyone tell me that? All the doctor said was bring him back in two weeks and the tech only handed me the bottle of pills, the I.V. was not mentioned by either of them. Either way I would of had to come back for seizure or for someone to take it out. The answer from the owner didn’t make sense. You would think that the owner would have come to me personally and apologized for the mistake because that’s what it really was, but instead sending a message to me like I’m a idiot. You would also think that when you are running a business and mistakes were made you would personally take care of it instead of sending a ridiculous response. So I left. When I got home I called there and asked to speak with the owner. The owner passed it on to a tech to talk to me and she said that the receptionist should not have apologized for the I.V. being left in because she doesn’t have any medical training. I told her that is what she was told by a doctor. I will NEVER go back there. I would have been okay with just an apology but instead the owner is sending responses that are an insult to my intelligence. The only reason I continued to take him there is because that is where his previous owner took him. FYI for PHA when you reply to a customer you have no idea if the person you are talking to has a medical background, so always make it make sense and apologize when you did something wrong. That can go a long way.

Very glad our family found this Vet nothing but a great experience with EVERY Single Dr EVERYTIME we go! We have gone several times these past couple of months, from our personal cats, to the litters a rescue from time to time. Definitely Recommend!!! Definitely the Best in town!

I needed a vet for my pit on a Sunday. I did a Google search, and this was the best fit for me. Reasonably price . Customer service was great . Doc was awesomeI will be bringing my dog here for his visits.Update for my dog, the vet said he would be back to normal in 48 hours. I was really scared, because the next day . He still did not want to eat or walk. Well, 48 hours later, he was back to normal running around, eating everything, chasing his tailHe is active and back to his normal self.

I have been with Dr. Rebecki for over 20 years started out with eight dogs and two cats. That he took care of for their whole life. He is so personable and friendly, and also a great and caring veterinary doctor He has a great team and a great staff.I can’t say enough good things about his daughter doctor Daria Rebecki She is also a great vet, caring, and understanding person.I continue taking my five cats and one dog there and will be with them for the rest of their lives. We are so happy at the Philadelphia Animal Hospital, Sam And Eleanor.

The vets and staff at this hospital are very kind and attentive. They have a great walk in policy. They also have a pool that is open year round. I have signed up for their yearly wellness program. The only thing is that on the phone message it says prescriptions are reduced but they aren't actually in the program so I ended up paying more than I was hoping for some of it but really the staff are so friendly and caring and the environment is great. This is my little Sadie girl at the pool.

I love that you can do walk-ins! I waited around 20 mins on a random weekday at 3pm to be seen. They were able to do x-rays on the same day for my puppy. Everything is so much more affordable than other vets in the city. My puppy loved all the staff. No frills and they get the job done! Thank you all!
