Horrible bank. Customer service is only on the weekdays 9/5 expect a attitude fromMost people that work inside the bank.Overdraft fee.. they overdraft $28.00 for $0.25 cents. You don’t get an allowed time to transfer money even if you transfer money before the fee they will still give you a overdraft fee.The App. Updates terribly I couldn’t see my new balance for 24hrs! I couldn’t get gas because of the app never showing the availability. Also any ach payment on the weekend will be transferred on the weekday which makes no sense.Honestly if your in a rush or need a bank while in Pa I implore you to not use this bank. They will try to get any dollar they can from you.Trash bank I will put this review everywhere I can to keep people away from this theif of a bank. Your atm won’t work or is oos by the weekend but you charge for everything

Kind and friendly staff. Helped me out. The ATM Is inside of their location, so make sure to go during their active hours. If you need to deposit a check, go to the front.

Kind and friendly staff. Always helped me when I needed it. I had a few unauthorized transactions that they fixed right away. I was only charged a few over draft fees since being a member and they waived a couple that I disputed. They are close to my job so they are extremely convenient.

I have a checking account, a savings account, a line of credit and a loan. I have been a customer with this bank for over 10 years and I deeply regret all of the time that I have wasted with investing my money in this terrible financial institution. I have a tight budget and pay my bills down to the last dollar. I live paycheck to pay check so I cannot afford for any miscellaneous charges to hit my account. Beware! This bank does not like to waive their bank fees, so you're on your own if your account ever goes negative. I had an unauthorized charge to my account because a credit card payment tried to hit my account twice. I called PFCU customer service and they wanted to charge me $15 to place a stop payment on the charge but wouldn't budge when I asked to have it waived because I am the one being inconvenienced! You want to charge me to protect my account from a transaction that I didn't authorize!? I'm calling to dispute the charge because I don't want to spend any extra money period! I get paid bi-weekly, and I expect to have my acct balance left in tact until I get my next paycheck. The credit card merchant has agreed to refund the $129.50 charge, but you won't place an immediate block to prevent another auto debit of funds out of the acct unless I pay an additional $15!? Whose the scam artist here!? They have a policy, if you caused the issue, they say there is nothing more we can do. I have worked at First Union, Wachovia Bank and Wells Fargo through all of those bank mergers for 8 years and the first thing that I've learned is that there is always something you can do, and to always try to go above and beyond for your customer. In this case I DID NOT cause the issue, but providing the highest level of customer service to protect my account was not even a priority unless I paid them. :( After my loans are paid off I am closing my accounts. I am posting this on every pfcu listing because that is how angry I still am!

this credit union has a useless anti fraud Department. Call them because you notice a fraudulent charge PENDING. They cant block it. They wont do anything about it. Happened on 8/14/18 still no help. They dont even call it "fraud" or file it as fraud (they call it a merchant dispute) even though it was a fraudulent company online pretending to be another. The company even called pretending to be the pfcu fraud department asking if I authorized the charges but still pfcu wont do anything about it.

I just want to talk about the horrible experience that I had trying to support this local credit union with my business bank account. I found late in 2017 that PFCU would no longer accept checks written to me (an independent contractor) in my business account - after accepting checks since I opened the account - as it was a "newly enforced rule". So I pulled most of my funds out and put them back into a big bank that could actually cash the checks written to me AND/OR the business. Well, I just found out that there was an $11 charge that slipped past me and was applied to my old account. PFCU used the leftover savings that I left behind "just in case" to pay for it, so there is no balance or anything. However, now here in 2018 I need the digital download of all my transactions and *surprise surprise* as has been common with this credit union, they cannot help me as a small business owner with this common request. They can only mail me a full year of paper statements. Not only is this inefficient but it's also a waste of paper - especially as I'm talking to the customer service rep on the phone and they can SEE all of my transactions - but are not "allowed" download and share with me nor allow me to download that information. Since the goal is to upload this information into my accounting software, this makes life extremely difficult since PFCU cannot support this simple normal business need. I just want to point out this is exactly why I left this credit union. There were too many instances where PFCU just could not do something that any bank could do with ease. I don't know if this is a symptom of all credit unions or just PFCU, but it is extremely frustrating. Combined with them "holding" my initial $20000 business deposit (I cleared my big bank business account and moved most of the money to PFCU initially) for a MONTH which effectively made me unable to do business until I called and begged them to release some of the funds. Dealing with this credit union was so frustrating. PFCU has shown that they cannot compete in a 2018 digital banking world.
