Philly Improv Theater is the heart of Philadelphia’s comedy scene, producing over 1,000 performances annually. The theatre is small with no bad seats; you have a great view from every angle and the seats are comfortable. The facility can be challenging, however, with a difficult parking situation. It is very hard to get a center seat without a subscription. The community is very friendly and supportive, offering shows and classes for all. Performers regularly tour to prestigious venues across North America, while the training center teaches over 1,000 children and adults each year.
Saw King Headley II. The theatre is small but the seats are not tight and they are comfortable. Planning to go back to see Rent. There are no bad seats. You have a great view of the stage from every angle. This is my view from the 2nd to last row on the right. I gave it a 4 because of the challenging parking situation.

Unless you have a subscription, it's very hard if possible to get a seat in the Center. My last seat was row 12, on the really high row for an eighty year old. Still trying to decide if the physical facility is inviting enough to keep going there.

Nice venue. Friendly staff. Classic plays as well as new, local, and contemporary playwrights.
