Solid spot with a ton of actual adult sized clothes, which is difficult in Vintage. My wife and nephew had an absolute ball here.

I absolutely love Retrospect, they are one of the only thrift stores like this in center city. The staff is amazing and always helpful. BUT, the ever- increasing prices are making me not want to continue shopping here… especially when you know that it’s a GOODWILL front shop. The staff shops the goodwill warehouses and then they mark in up in a south Philly-boutique-style thrift atmosphere ?? the other day I picked up a $34 lamp with a $2.99 goodwill sticker on the bottom and was in shock ??

I've been a long time customer of Retrospect for many years, but this latest trip was extra special. I found the perfect wall art for my home, and employee Sol was extremely helpful, kind, and patient with me in assisting me with it. Retrospect always has a great selection at good prices, it's worth the trip!

Very good selection of items, has shoes, clothes, furniture, and other knick knacks and trickets. Very well curated and the employees are kind and helpful. For some reason the receipt says goodwill on it? Lol

I have shopped at Retrospect for many years the prices are on the higher side but it's a vintage store. The staff are always friendly and they really make a effort to display the pieces. The way the clothing is organized isn't my favorite. I highly recommend

All the good donations are takin from South jersey goodwill outlet and taking to this store and overprice the items. I don't even think this store is legal/Legit. How can goodwill have a side hustle store.

I’ve been shopping here for a long time and I’ve noticed that over the past year, retrospect has kicked up their prices a significant amount. To some extent it is understandable with inflation and all, but up until recently, they were known for their good deals and decent inventory. It’s what has set them apart from other vintage shops on South Street. Now it seems like although their items have gotten more expensive, the inventory has gotten weaker. I’ve also noticed since the change in staff, the flow of the stores set up has gotten very messy and cluttered. There are random small items placed in odd areas creating tripping hazards. Very tight and cluttered spaces that are impossible to maneuver around if you are pushing a stroller or even just casually shopping alone. I, along with other friends who’ve shopped there too, have noticed that they consistently change the dates on pricing stickers on the higher priced items to ensure they don’t sell half off.

Got a purse I liked in store but upon closer inspection it’s in bad shape— stained with many signs of wear, and inside the stains have a vague wetness to them that sleeves me out. I love the shape, style and color so much that I tried to rehab it and even use it occasionally because it’s also super convenient- that’s why I got it! But if I knew the brand or even a type of style I’d try to find the same bag or similar in better shape. It was $18 and would’ve been $7 at goodwill, which makes sense now that I know these items are DONATED by goodwill. Idk why but the one employee I saw seemed very snotty and I felt strange being in there, like they wanted to hurry me out. I prob won’t be back— altho maybe I’ll try to find a duplicate bag in newer condition

Pretty tiny shop, but not much of it actually seems vintage. They have some cool stuff though.

in my opinion, this is the best vintage/thrift store on south street in terms of its reasonable (not dirt cheap, of course, but hey, it's operated by goodwill) pricing, friendly staff, and selection of clothing. like any vintage store, it's often hit or miss, but in comparison to nearby vintage stores (i'm looking at you, raxx), its curation is largely pleasing even when it comes to items that don't align with my personal taste. it's not a massive store, but it's certainly big enough to enjoy thoroughly looking through for some vintage treasure. :)i found a slip dress i adored here, but it had two large gnashes on the sides at the seams. i asked the cashier about it and she offered a $4 discount. the price was still $14 (from $18), and to be honest i thought for how damaged it was it should have been $10 or even under that, but again, i did love the dress so i bought it anyways. the experience just led me to wonder about their quality/condition check process. if it was a past customer who tore the dress, i still feel the discount should have been steeper.

Refuses to share their (comically low) wages publicly when posting jobs, and blocks people on social media when this is pointed out. They pretend to be a local small business when they are actually a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries, a huge organization known for not paying disabled employees minimum wage.

Great place for all vintage stuffs. They have a lot of shoes modern and older. Some even new and never worn! The place gets their stuff from good will donations as well as other sources. Curated, neatly displayed, lots of things to look at. Paintings, household items such as vase, cups and more. Anything you see hanging there is pretty much for sale. Prices are overall above average. Kinda wish they're a little cheaper but the good thing is if things are there for more than 2 months it's 50 percent off. They have specials on Monday too
