Pharmacists are extremely lazy and won’t pick up the phone if it’s within 1 hour of closing time despite the fact that they are getting paid for that time.Do yourself a favor and find another pharmacy like a cvs.

I’ve called this store pharmacy 4 days in a row and no one answered. Called corporate office and they couldn’t reach the store either. This is HORRIBLE customer service look at the wait time and my hang ups and still no one answered. I hit the Covid prompt and a lady had me on hold 20 minutes saying she’d get her manager but no one answered and the complaint office said if I hear nothing by the 29th to utilize my complaint number. Never fill your prescription here, you're better off at CVS, or Acme Pharmacy.They never pick up your call or pick it up and hang up. I need to know about my status of my medications because some of them require a specific manufacturer due to my allergies but nope, you'll have to go in multiple times just for one prescription and if you're lucky you'll get it.

My 1 year son suffer the illness and still are because of this pharmacy. I had to run to the store multiple time for every single prescription. A whole week gone I can’t start my kid medication after 4 time store visit. The next day another employee told me they already billed the insurance company so I cant get it untill next week. These guys are pure scammers in the name of healthcare.

I had a prescription sent here because my regular pharmacy was out of stock and this location had it. When it was time for a refill I was told that they were now out if stock and would place an order. That was on a Friday. Let the weekend and labor day go by. I called multiple times on Tuesday and not one time did anyone EVER answer the phone. I don't live close by this location, so I didn't want to go in only for then to tell me that they don't have it. I just wanted to know when did they think they would have it in stock. I press 3 to talk to someone. No one answered. I pressed 2 to verify my prescription. It couldn't be determined so I was transferred to the pharmacist who never answered. Or the phone will ring. It sound like someone picked up but no one says anything. I even called one time and after a few rings it go back to the main menu. UT did not. It rang for about 5-8 minutes straight. Again it should like someone picked up but no one answered. This is very unprofessional. Why have a business phone if no one answers. Even if you're busy at least ask thr caller to old. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

their drive thru was closed every time I tried to use it the last month. the reason? they're too short staffed because the pharmacists keep getting covid ? if only there were an obvious solution for this

I can’t get through on the phone and have to call multiple times at different times a day. This is such an issue because I have medical issues which give me memory issues so I have trouble remembering to call again even with notes. I shouldn’t have to call multiple times just to verify that they are going to have my medication (that I NEED to take every day!) in stock. Please just hire more people so that your employees can have a better chance of answering the phone.

As of July of 2023 The service in the pharmacy dept has gotten disgusting, stand waiting for someone to take my refill, I stood there for 15 minutes just watching these two employees absolutely doing nothing but talking to each other , than one left and came back after 10 minutes, I'm still standing there, finally after reporting back to her buddy and them having some key keys she finally asked could she help me, If the job is not what you want to do go find what you would like to do, but to have elderly people standing there waiting for help, is irresponsible Sharon H

The pharmacists here don't ever actually answer the phone, they just pick it up and then hang up on you without speaking. Some of us are disabled and can't always make it in person.Though hey, maybe this is better than the 57/Chestnut Rite-Aid where they cycle you through the hold music endlessly-- at least it's over quick!This is why Rite Aid is going out of business; pretty soon CVS and Walgreens will be all that's left (but at least they answer their phones ??)

Came to pick up a prescription an hour before close fire vital time sensitive medication and stressed the importance of the medication and the pharmacist here refused to fill my prescription. There was a customer in front of me who was also having the same dilemma, and the only answer we received is we’re about to close… an hour early. Very disappointing. No choice but to try again tomorrow

pharmacy won’t pick up the phone , rite aid is a deeply unserious business, which is why multiple stores have closed here recently in philly. thankfully i switched to cvs and it’s light years better and more professional. rite aid simply doesn’t invest in their workforce and doesn’t care

Please for the love of god, staff your pharmacy! This is not a knock on the pharmacy staff you do have, it’s that you need more on at the same time! It’s a shame that Rite Aid CORPORATE doesn’t care about its staff or patients. It’s clear as day to see. What a shame that corporate will probably see a one star review and further punish the staff. Hire more staff, let more staff work at the same time. It is ridiculous that I had to wait 30 minutes to receive a medication that was done. 30 minutes waiting to just be able to say my name and date of birth. The actual hand off and pay was 5 minutes tops. A simple pick up should not be over 30 minutes. No excuses Rite Aid. This is your fault for not properly staffing your pharmacy.
