Very incompetent and unprofessional. Went to pick up a prescription after work and was told that my insurance doesn’t cover it. Contacted my insurance company and was told it was denied because my insurance was ran as a secondary insurance and not a primary. Went back to rite aid at 9:41pm to pick up my already ready prescription and they were closed with the gates down. Even though all signs say close at 10pm. I stood outside for 20min for them to tell me they close at 9:45 (which I was still early for) to do a pick up. If you have a pharmacy and are planning to before store hours are up, the pharmacy should be closed. I hate this right aid with a passion.

This Pharmacy is the worst. They all go on break at the same time 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. After I called to see if the medication is ready for pick up and I arrive at 2 PM. All of the medication isn’t ready now. I have to sit around and wait another 30 minutes for them to put pills in a bottle. Don’t get me started on the line inside 3 to 4 pharmacist in the back room but only one at the register and. The medication isn’t ready for pick up. So what are the other ones doing back there?

The pharmacy never answers, and the hours are not up on google. The service there sucks very unprofessional.

This is the worse Rite Aid pharmacy that I have been to. I would love to give zero stars. Even the Rite Aid on 53rd and baltimore in Philadelphia is better. They actually pick up calls, but this location (5627 chestnut) does not ever pick up the phone or return phone calls. When they give a time frame for medication to be filled its never accurate and they don't update you periodically while you're sitting down in Rite Aid waiting, to let you know it's taking a little longer than expected. They say an ordered medicine will be in by the next day and then suddenly it's a few more days wait. People rely on medication for so many conditions and I am not sure that this Pharmacy location truly cares about that. If the 53rd and Baltimore Rite aid wasn't out of my way then I'd gladly transfer my prescriptions there.

Currently speaking this is the most disrespectful pharmacy I had to deal with and it's not the female it's a disgrace that they have called men that's working here and it's always so over the top flamboyant person who got an attitude mainly because customers don't want to deal with that type of stuff if the co-workers in the pharmacy can pick up the phone as fast as they can hang it up business will be booming I promise you the only reason I go to this pharmacy is because it's the closest one to my house I highly recommend not going here it's nothing the on the shelf's and somebody always coming in here robbing the store and honestly the way that the homosexual security guards be acting I will wrap the store too because you're not about to sit here and try me just because you're assuming I'm robbing the sword because you're working in the urban area now I can do a lot better coming to a neighborhood I'm moving the whole race into a place to work is it going to work because for the past 3 years after the pandemic everybody was dealing with prejudice cashiers and these nurses are losing their mind

I wish I could give this story zero however you have to get on that least one star, never have I experienced such rude employees in my life. Since I've gone in the store I think four of them have been following me however when I asked if he was my personal stopper he told me no I look like I had it under control however someone else is in the store and also has their shopping bag however I have not seen anybody near that customer and the fact that rite aid's customer service corporate number is closed is also ridiculous. They're closing down cuz you keep her stealing but then just ask me to leave my bag up front and it would have been no big deal but to make me feel like this since I walked in is ridiculous. I know it's because of my skin color as sad as that sounds. A woman just told him off,George Minor is the old security officer's name who didn't want to give it to me at first

I don't understand how an established pharmacy can be so unprofessional. I can never get ahold of a pharmacist when I call. I have left 2 voicemails for someone to call me back about my heart medication days ago and no answer. I've switched to another pharmacy in order to get my medication but they still had to contact this pharmacy in order to transfer my medicine request. They've sent them a fax 2 days ago and still no response.
I've used other Rite aid locations (outside of Philadelphia) and its like night and day... way better service in other areas.
I haven't had my heart medication in days without a signal call or notification from this pharmacy... it's almost fascinating how a supposedly well-known company can be so careless.

Pharmacy Sucks, it's too many workers behind the counter doing basically nothing. You wait in line too long to pickup but your service is calling and texting saying it's ready it's not and they acting like everything is brand new back there. I simply hate going or waiting if it's more than two people in line, I just walk out the store.

This location is ran by a bunch of incompetent employees. Especially the pharmacy section. They say when medicine is available only to say later it's not available. This has happened twice this week.

Rite Aid has closed a number of locations. This one looks like all the delivery trucks just decided to stop stocking. The store is very bright due to the lack of items on the shelves. It's fortunate the employees got to keep their job. There is always security at the door. There is always someone at the register. It's the best run Rite Aid with minimal items available for sale. The pharmacy is fully operational.
