I’ve never hated a store more in my life. I’m sick, need my prescription, need to update my insurancd, and no ones picking up the phone ALL DAY. 15 calls.. Just long waits and automated responses. I have to uber extremely sick just HOPING they’re open , since no one picks up. Disgusting, unprofessional, WORTHLESS .

Called several times over the past week to have a simple question answered about my prescription. I tried about a dozen times. No one ever picked up the phone. I even tried calling at different times of the day in case there was a rush at the time or maybe they had phone line issues. Still nothing. I had to drive out of my way, wait in line just to have my question answered. If no one answers, there should be another way to leave a message or have the call redirected to the main office. 4 days of phone call attempts without connecting is an unacceptable business practice.

I have been coming here for 3 years. I don’t know who is running it now but I’m never coming back again. I wasent able to get my prescription filled because the pharmacist who was there didn’t know how to do their job correctly or just didn’t want to do. Had to go all night without my meds which left me in so much pain. All for me to call the next day and they were able to fill they just needed my updated insurance card which my husband tried to give them the previous day. I don’t know why they could not have taken my insurance card the day before I would not had to go through so much pain. At first they said something about my dentist my dentist tried to call ni one answers I have been calling no one answers. Just terrible. No one apologized nothing. Never coming back.

I believe the previous pharmacist manager (Ryan) left about a month ago. There’s a new pharmacist who is the rudest most arrogant person I’ve ever met. I’ve been using this pharmacy for 5 years and I’ve never had an issue. The service was always great and I knew the employees on a first name basis. This new pharmacist refused to fill one of medications which was an anxiety medication that a needed desperately. Not having this medication could make me have seizures. The pharmacist stated he didn’t agree with my psychiatrist and tried to say my doctor didn’t have credentials or didn’t know what he was doing. I go to Rittenhouse Psychiatric's and they do not take insurance…I pay everything out of pocket. This practice is a high scale psychiatric firm and this pharmacist had the nerve to say my doctor didn’t have the credentials?? I understand a pharmacy has the right to refuse but none of that makes sense to me. What does a pharmacist know about a patient compared to their psychiatrist? If you do use this pharmacy good luck!! It was the worst experience of my life. I had an extreme panic attack, in store, with my child on a Saturday. I was so embarrassed and upset. This guy is out of his mind!! I’ve since moved on to a different pharmacy with no issues.

I have called the pharmacy 17 times over the past week to see if my prescription has been filled and the phone has been picked up once.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Wasted my time going because they did not have my prescription. I tried calling all day hoping I wouldn’t have to come but they all blatantly ignore the phone. The phone was ringing non stop while I waited in line and no one answered the phone. But they had enough time to laugh and talk about who is quitting next.

I've been trying to get a prescription refilled for a week now. I've called repeatedly,THEY NEVER ANSWER PHONE IN PHARMACY! I finally figured out they may be calling my old doctor ( changed March) so I contacted my present doctor to get this refilled. Worst service ever!

Pharmacy does not answer the phone. Tried many times in a row and I was answered 1/10 times.

Incompetent, no sense of time. When asked to fill a prescription on time they cannot do that. Pharmacist cursed and gave up when asked to do her job. Sad excuse for a pharmacy.

The dude at the cashier had the worst attitude I've ever experienced without even saying a word to him. Left and went to Acme instead

Rite Aid #00822 PharmacyI’ve had no issues with any of the two pharmacists working at this location, nor have I ever had any issues with any of the pharmacy technicians who worked here — until now.For those who use the 5911-5933 Ridge Ave location as their neighborhood pharmacy, you may have observed or have been told how short-staffed they are. You can expect excessively long wait times over the phone (5-20 min.), have your call get disconnected after long hold times, or maybe — when you do finally get connected to someone from the pharmacy, you can expect to have the pharmacy technician simply just hang up on you, rather than make an effort to resolve or understand the script or Rx issue at hand. This incident occurred at 7:30pm on 2/13/23.I don’t mind that Rite Aid #00822 is short-staffed. In fact, I don’t even mind having longer wait times on the phone to connect with the pharmacy. But, when customers are finally connected to you and/or your staff, there is never any reason to resort to hanging up on customers while they are attempting to explain their situation (especially when we, as Rite Aid customers, look to you for our Rx fill/re-fill).It’s unfortunate that you resorted to hanging up on me. If you were unable to assist with my issue, I would have happily had you place me on hold to talk with the pharmacist. We all have bad days sometimes, however the matter in which you chose to handle the call was very unprofessional and is a poor reflection on the other technicians and pharmacists who work there with you, who I do respect.Short-staffed or not, never have I ever experienced this level of disrespect from anyone in your profession when seeking help (in-person/over the phone). There have been other local pharmacies who have been competing for my business, but Rite Aid #00822 has always been my preferred pharmacy since I’ve lived here — until now.Thank you to both pharmacists (both named Ryan), Vera (former tech who previously worked there) and the other staff members on your team who I’ve met recently who have been so friendly and helpful whenever I come in to the store. But excellent customer service, friendly attitude and professionalism is important to me that it now outweighs the convenience (distance) of this location. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch.Unfortunately, I will no longer be a returning customer to RiteAid #00822 and will take my business to CVS — family included.*****UPDATE: I'm very pleased that I received an immediate response from the Owner the following day of my post. Given the past Reviews, I already made note of the Owner's previous response and forwarded my Google Review to their Customer Care Department via Twitter and Facebook DM. I was contacted, that night, that someone from their Leadership Team would be contacting me soon and sure enough they made good on their word.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Five-Star Review on Response Time and Action by the Regional Manager for Store Area. She is a true professional. She was genuinely concerned about my experience and that alone is truly all that I could ask for. She made numerous attempts to contact me directly for three straight days and even left multiple messages until I was able to reach back out to her today on 2/21/23. I'm very thankful to her for making herself available to me. It's possible that she's convinced me to give Rite Aid #00822 Pharmacy another chance at my business...couldn't ask for better customer service and care. Thank you again!

Forgot my wallet when picking up a heated wrap for my wife who is current in the ER. Left my heating wrap on the front counter and return 5 minutes later to locked up and closed store. The store closed an hour early 11pm! Dashing my hopes of aiding my wife tonight. Ridiculous. To add insult to injury the young female employee was enjoying some male company as as I first arrived and left that explains why I was never acknowledged.

This store is disgusting and needs a deep clean. It looks like it hasn’t been swept in months or ever mopped. Waiting area chairs are filthy. You can see into the pharmacy and it’s also dirty in there too.
