AWFUL customer service! Had a HO line of credit with them and 2 accounts (personal & business). Business acct was CLOSED with NO PHONE CALL, NO EMAIL. Went into the branch yesterday and was told "CAN'T HELP YOU TODAY". CALLED AGAIN TODAY AND LEFT ON HOLD FOR OVER 10 MINUTES!!!! WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE FOR FREE BUSINESS CHECKING AND OTHER FINANCIAL SERVICES. ADIOS SANTANDER!

I was going to give this location 4 stars until they decided not to accept a check deposit from my minor son when I went to the bank but I was able to deposit it online and everything was fine. Make up your mind about your policies Santander and be consistent about what transactions you can and cannot do so people can make better decisions. This is why bank tellers are going extinct. No one wants to deal with rudeness and uncooperation from anyone.

What an amazing team of banking employees! We were completely delighted by the service and care received at this Santander branch. If I lived in Philadelphia, I would most definitely make this my local bank. Derick and Janay went above and beyond and the other employees were kind and courteous, too. A real pleasure to do business with them today!

Had a problem with a washed check. Went to this branch since it was close. They handled the situation, changed my account and voided the bogus check. It took a few days but it worked thanks to Karen.

This is the worst bank, been banking with them for over 5 years yet they have no clue what there doing as a bank. I would never recommend anyone to come here or think about opening an account. I am current having a problem that there atm didn’t deposit my money and the bank refuses to give me the money I own. Once again stay far away from this bank

I went into this bank and I had the pleasure to deal with Sal at this location. Sal is deceive me or he is just not knowledgeable at his job. First I was never told by Sal that was there no fees for a personal line of credit besides the annual percentage rate if you borrow the number ok fine then a month later I get a $50 charge fee for a annual charge. Note this is only less then 2 months and I never even touch the line of credit. Now the 2nd lie comes from Sal is that he told me to transfer my money from my other bank and he'll give me employee rate which was 2.60% then when I was ready to transfer I contacted Sal now he tells me he never told me that he can give me that rate lol. This guy is very unprofessional he has to lie and deceive people to join at this bank. I advise you to stay away from this location.

I received a mailer in the mail for a bonus of $225 after 90 days of direct deposits to be paid 30 days after the 90 days. They are NOT, NOT a cooperative Bank. I never received my Debit Card after 3 weeks, Branch manager at the Phila, PA, Oregon Ave location, confirmed she never ordered the debit card. Every time you call, you are re-directed to the local branch, put on lengthy hold times, with no one, checking back in with you to apologize for the wait time. In addition when you 1st ask "Am I going to be put on a lengthy hold time", you get no answer just are put on hold. I have been told repeatedly to "Come into the branch". This is the 21st Century, no one walks into branch anymore, everything is done remotely, direct deposits, etc. I'm telling you one thing, if i don't get my bonus, they are going to have a law suit on their hands, and that's that!!!

I currently live in South Philadelphia, but I work in Princeton NJ. I received a third-party-check from a friend (a bridesmaid in my wedding and German resident), and I went to deposit it at this branch. When I handed it to the teller, she looked at it like she had never seen a check that had been signed over, and then she said that they couldn't deposit it. I asked to see a manager, who came over and told me that they couldn't accept the check, because the check had a German address on it and probably wasn't real. I replied, perhaps snidely, that I would take the check to a different Santander Bank with more competent personnel. The manager said that no Santander Bank would accept the check, because it looks like a fake. I went to the Santander Bank in Princeton NJ, said that I had a check that had been signed over to me, and it was accepted without question in under 30 seconds. Perhaps my hometown South Philly Santander works with a different clientele than the Princeton branch, but I feel like the lack of competence here, and the way I was treated like a criminal by the branch manager, is indicative of how this Santander branch is tarnishing the reputation of the institution.
