One thing i love is they had my son on a curriculum since the begging and teaching him is their priority. as a full time single mom they are a huge help for me ! “Every Science teacher in Philadelphia should be taking advantage of this amazing local resource! Talk about the ultimate field trip! My fifth graders had an amazing, informative and super-engaging experience. Field trips are lead by a team of expert environmental educators who have created a curriculum that is incredibly thoughtful, fun and standards-aligned.There are programs for all ages, K-12. (Preschool too!) Available topics include sustainability, ecosystems, trees, soil and many more! Grant funding was available for my Title I school, making the trip completely free! The Center is also open to the public year-round!The folks at The Schuylkill Center are absolute pros! Each person has their own expertise and specialty; they were all so knowledgeable! Our bus was met by the staff at the Welcome Center. After bathroom and water breaks, they did a circle-up to go over expectations. We separated into small groups and cycled through four stations over the course of the morning, hiking from one station to another.After lunch at the pavilion, we hiked as a group to the Forest Free Play area, which is an awesome pine grove that is set up for tree climbing, fort building and general exploring. The kids had an absolute BLAST! It was so fun!Shoutout to Teachers Sam, Sky, Jason, Declan, Amelia and all of the hardworking folks who are so dedicated to preserving a true Philadelphia Treasure! “My daughter has thrived at The Giving Tree! We have been so happy, it feels like we found a family with Ms Shante and Ms Louise. They are great communicators- no easy feat during the pandemic. The teachers share videos and updates on the classroom app and seem to really know my daughter- even if they aren’t her primary teacher! The center is clean and offers so many places to play- the Mini Gym is a great asset. They also have enrichments with music, gymnastics, librarian visits and field trips. My girl loves learning through play and has grown so much during her time at TGT.”

“Reason why I gave COA 4 stars because in my personal opinion they school overall is great there staff is great and class room for the lower level is ok and they also have cameras in the the room which I love because I get to see my baby. I also like the fact nobody can just walk in you need your door code to get into the building. But let's go back my bby first day was June 23 2020 just was 3 months and the staff at the time was amazing except one teacher she was a bit lazy to me again there are just my opinions anyway the one pain teacher she had we will call her ms.m she was wonderful but sad to say she left out of no where no explanation was giving to the parents wasn't told until a few days later she is no longer there. So no she get stuck with the lazy one for a while then it was time for her to move to the next room where she get another amazing teacher I liked. So now she is one and she moved on again got teacher who was great at everything she did, my favorite thing about her was she thought the kids sign language Loved it but then after a while she left. ugh...... but lol now she has another teacher and she do a good job my bby has learned so much for being at this center I would recommend it.”

“After looking at many many daycares in the area(and even out of the area) we were starting to notice how hard it is to find a clean, safe and warm environment for our son. One day my husband drove past Saint Alphonsa's. We called and scheduled a tour. First thing we noticed was how clean it was. We had to take off our shoes and the kids have "indoor shoes". We loved that idea. With newborns and toddlers and all the time they spend on the floor and putting things in their mouths...This was a huge relief. And the center was so clean...anyone who has even 1 child knows how hard it is to keep a room in order for an hour...let alone the day. The center is never upside down.And then there is the staff. Leaving your child all day with strangers had me so worried...but we quickly started feeling like the teachers and the center manager were part of our son's family. They are so caring and they love children and what they are doing. We could see our son's excitement to see his teachers day after day and that made us so happy and comfortable. And they are always available to discuss any concerns or questions you have. Or just to let you know how your child is doing.Another great thing is the curriculum. They are not just babysitting the children or throwing in a lesson here and there. They really take the time to teach the kids. Our son learned so much so quickly that we were surprised many days at some of the things he knew :-)Overall we could not be any happier with the decision we made in picking Saint Alphonsa's Academy. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a wonderful environment for your child to grow up in. Leaving your child can never be easy, but knowing that they are in a safe place, in good hands and are being treated like family makes it so much less difficult.I absolutely love the Saint Alphonsa's Family!”

“I couldn't be happier with Appletree Childcare & Learning Center. I enrolled my daughter at Appletree after she spent the majority of her young life at a different center. I expected the transition to be difficult, but the teachers and staff at Appletree proved me WRONG! My daughter thrives at Appletree. She loves her teachers and classmates. She has learned so much and her teachers genuinely care about her mental and physical wellbeing. I am so grateful that Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Amanda, and all of the wonderful staff at Appletree are now a part of our lives! “Mayfair is a great school. The principal and other grade principals are always aware of the kids. They walk the campus for the childrens safety. The children like and trust them. I have seen them go above and beyond for these kids. The teachers are great. They strive for the welfare and education of our children. I have never had an issue. My only concern is that due to its good reputation, Mayfair school is starting to become overly populated due to other people that dont live in the neighborhood enrolling their children here. I completely understand of trying to give your child a better education, however, SOME not all of the parents continuously bring their bad habbits to this neighborhood and its knoticable. I just hope that my childs education is not affected by the large classroom size . I really hope that people dont start affecting Mayfair's good reputation to the worst. My kids and i both really love it here and would hate to have to transfer my children.”

“I absolutely love this daycare, my son came from a not so good daycare. This place is absolutely the best. My son is cared for very much. My son is currently undergoing a diagnosis and the teachers and staff have been so accommodating to him. I can’t imagine a better place for my son to be. He’s 2 years old and learning and growing and I feel like he’s so safe and I barely worry about him during the day. I used to be so worried about his care at the other place. Im updated daily through an app with pictures and notifications about when he went to the bathroom and what he is eating. My son therapist also say he’s in one of the best daycares, and I can’t agree more.”

“My daughter has been going for a semester and it’s made a huge difference in her. I can see her math, English, Chinese skills shot up. She’s now doing three digit additions as a pre k student. In English, she’s learning all her cite words, reading, and writing. And her Chinese skills are much better in terms of reading writing and conversing. What’s more important is that she’s developing great study and life habits where she’s excited to read, can’t wait to spell, and thirsting to be challenged with new math problems. She’s also speaking more clearly, describing things more completely when communicating. As a result, I can also see her confidence in herself boosted as well. So glad we made this choice to go to this great school. The teachers have been tremendous!”
