I love ice cream so my wife got my groom's cake from Scoop DeVille and it was awesome! We love going in there and picking out all the toppings we can stomach. Best ice cream in Philly!

Fun and tasty ice cream shop that is open late for your sweet tooth cravings! They have a good variety of desserts and you can sample the flavors. Skip the dessert at dinner and go here. I'd stop back next time I'm in the area.

We ordered the "5 cake mayhem" variety, as the picture on Caviar looked incredible. First, there was no tiramisu as in the photo, and there were two of the same exact cake in the 5 variety pack....On top of that, the first one we tried was the cheesecake, and it was still frozen inside....... thank God Caviar refunded our money....we really wanted to try the ice cream cake but this is the second time we ordered from here and got semi defrosted cakes that tasted terrible. The prices are outrageous for below average, pre frozen desserts. Maybe we should've just got the ice cream cake since we notice other comments rave about that....

A real find for ice cream fans! Really great selection of gelato which tastes amazing! We’ve been here four times in a week it’s so good!

Scoop DeVille went above and beyond creating a custom ice cream cake for my girlfriend’s birthday! Not to mention they even delivered it for me! The cake itself is the BEST ice cream cake I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve had a lot)! I could not be any happier with the customer service & quality of the product. THANK YOU SO MUCH SPENCER & ASHLEY!!!

How disappointing it was I after anticipating a delivery of a personal peanut butter explosion cake just to unravel a chocolate covered peanut butter mousse BALL! They seriously need to update their ubereats info

A great place to visit with your discount on Yelp! When you check-in you get a 1 size upgrade on a blend which means that you can get a medium size for the price of a small. This is such great deal because a medium is the perfect size. I would defiantly recommend using this perk! The way you make the ice cream is you choose the flavor of a base and then you pick toppings that you want to mix in. They blend everything together which, makes a nice texture for the ice cream. The ice cream itself was okay nothing too exciting. But this is one place that you should try if you are around in the Philly area looking for places to try! I've went with my friends and it is a good place to hang out. There are spots to sit inside but the place isn't too big. There also isn't a long wait time me and my friends waited on line for about 5 minutes.

Was sooo delicious! Have a wide variety of everything imaginable that will satisfy a sweet tooth! Personal fave to the Oreo Peanut-butter frozen yogurt under 250 calories. Will absolutely be back.

I had really mediocre ice cream here. I only came here because my sister and I were desperate for a Sundae. We ordered a smores sundae, expecting a soft warm brownie, with gooey fudge. But, all we got was a rockhard, cold brownie, with some watery ice cream on top. The fudge was more like warm chocolate syrup. Even the marshmallows were hard. The quantity they give is quite a lot, but the quality is highly compromised. I won't be coming back here again, in my opinion it's a waste of money. Unless you're truly, truly desperate, don't waste your time or money coming here. You'd probably be better off going to the nearest grocery store and grabbing a pint of your favorite ice cream.

My favorite Philadelphia chain of ice cream! The menu is very unique with plenty of house specialities to make ordering not as difficult. They also have a gluten free and vegan section on their menu so my friend was able to get the blueberry cobbler. I got smoreo yet again.

Loved my Strawberry Mummy cake pop!!! Definitely fresh strawberries, not a mix!! Their chocolate peanut butter milkshake was delicious too! Will definitely be back for the chocolate fondue!!!

9 months pregnant so of course I'm specific. I tried Sarah's amore, and it is FANTASTIC. The staff were friendly and quick to gather our order. Were from Albany and it was almost like a place from home :)

Overrated...I've definitely had better but my place unfortunately closed down. Their ice cream is way too sweet for my taste but I think they pioneered rolled ice cream in PA so I guess they deserve the hype..

Limited options for chocolate flavours. They had 'regular chocolate' in the back which was alright. Not recommended if you are craving ice cream.

#vegan This icecream spot gets bonus points just for having a vegan option. Actually four! They had a few soft serve options and a hard ice cream. Its in a decent spot. People were nice but seemed a little uninterested to be honest. Price is quite expensive and the first time I went I was trying to get half and half and they ended up giving me two full smalls and charging me. I did got back again though ! The soft serve chocolate peanut butter. Reeallllllllly good, that is what I kept going back for!! The mango soft serve, just didnt taste like anything. The hard cookies and cream tasted pretty good, nice and smooth but you could definitely strongly tell that it was made from tofuetti, if you get what I mean. Overall cute spot. Good ice cream. Vegan options!!!!!!

I am such a fan of Scoop DeVille. My go-to location is at The Bourse, but my husband ordered a birthday cake for me from this location (the mint chip one - everyone loved it) in August, and I also popped in while I was in the area earlier this week. Scoop is known for their blends but I am all about the hard ice cream. The flavors rotate all the time and they are often very Philly-centric which is so fun. I ordered a pint of dough boi and the young guy who took my order absolutely stuffed that pint to the brim! This location didn't seem to have as much variety in terms of desserts and ice cream flavors, but perhaps it was just the timing of my visit. I did notice that they had loads of ice cream cakes ready for the taking so this is a great spot to get a gourmet ice cream cake that will beat out any grocery store option.

Great idea. It can be overwhelming at first for a new customer trying to choose something because there were so many menus. We ended up buying two of the suggested blends. We really liked the Sarah Amore (vanilla mixed with strawberry and sugar cookie dough) but probably could have done without the cookie dough. So next time we would choose a vanilla or chocolate ice cream base and mix in three fruits. Good amount of seating on a Saturday night. Will definitely come back.

BEST ICECREAM IN PHILLY!!! Have been going here for years. It's basically like a bougie version of Cold Stone Creamery! They have premade mixed flavors, but you can also choose to create your own mix. I have tried so many different flavors - my favorites are definitely the Oreo mudslide and the strawberry shortcake. The icecream is rich, creamy, and perfectly blended. The have cup sizes ranging from small to large. The small is definitely enough for a treat! Medium usually lasts me two servings. Most recently, I tried the Oreo mudslide mixed with peanut butter. SOO good - especially if you are a PB fan! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good icecream. The line isn't long at all and the workers are great!

the food and ice cream is fantastic, the 50s theme inside is crazy cool, and the staff is super friendly! the owner is very sweet!

This place was delicious. Definitely not like your regular cold stone. I had strawberry lemonade ice cream and half apple pie ice cream sandwich. The Apple pie was definitely my favorite , the strawberry cheesecake lemonade icecream takes some getting used to but good nonetheless!

They offer a pretty good check-in bonus, the mixes seem interesting, and the sizes are quite generous. I ordered a chocolate flavor with fudge brownies, and it tasted fine, but it wasn't particularly memorable or anything. Gluten-free options exist but aren't really marked and don't include any of the specialty flavors. We stopped in because we were going to a show across the street, but I wouldn't go out of my way. I'd mainly chalk it up to personal preference, though.

Based on management's response to my review, I am reaffirming my three-star review and elaborate further here. 1) the ice cream was "tasty" and enjoyable. I didn't find it creamy. As I said in my previous review, it am more of a traditionalist when it comes to ice cream, and Scoop won't be on my list of choices in the future. If in Center City Franklin Fountain, Big Gay, or Bassett's would be my first choice. Outside of Center City I'd choose Handel's, Weckerly's, or Little Baby's. Lots of other places come to choose from, but these are some of my favorite. 2) I didn't appreciate the colors of the ice cream. Personal preference for sure, but they were bright and unappealing to me. Again, personal preference. 3) I don't remember a chocolate flavor among the options! 4) Again, totally my preference, but I didn't care for the menu (it was overwhelming to me). For example, the manager said in their feedback to my first review that I could have ordered a scoop. While it may have been an option, it didn't seem like the kind of place where one just got a scoop and the menu clearly didn't lead me to that choice. 5) The staff was certainly friendly. 6) I stand behind my three-rating. Others may very much disagree with me, and I can very much appreciate that. This is my informed opinion.

Great ice cream. We tried both a soft serve and the cookie monster (hard flavor). It was hard to decide because everything looked so good The service was tremendous also. Would highly recommend!

The dough boi flavor is SOOO good. It's peanut butter ice cream with three types of cookie dough. Highly recommend! I've also had the samoa blended ice cream and that is absolutely to die for. So worth the price and calories! Also definitely recommend checking out the Bourse location! Such a cute stop!

ordered a cake for a baby shower at work and i would give it a 2.5/5 service was good except the piping and decorating skills were terrible. yes the letters looked good but the border and the rest looked so bad! and there was a huge space in the middle of the huge cake so we had to decorate it on our own. the only reason i didn't give 1 star is because it tasted pretty decent. i normally come here for ice cream and enjoy it but note to self to maybe try somewhere else next time for an ice cream cake
