Food was surprisingly delicious considering the small stand they have. The churros we ordered were made fresh, one of the best we had. Ice cream sundae was good and the fries too.

Who expects a good burger at a fair? We went to the amazing Chinese Lantern Festival and there were a few food choices. The boys opted for burgers and dogs. They flipped (get it?!) for the burgers, and it was easy to see why! These burgers were juicy and tasty! They boasted my favorite salad dressing too - Thousand Island. IDK if these grounds are open year round or Square Burger was just here for the festival? I definitely will see if they are a chain and, if so, where is the closest one to our home!!! Yummmmmmmm!!!

Nice little burger spot if you're in Franklin Square and hungry. The burgers were really good and so were the chicken tenders. I also had a milkshake that was really thick and good.

My boyfriend and I walk through Franklin Square all the time and decided to grab a bite. I ordered the veggie burger, and got the chicken quesadilla. The man who took our order was very friendly and kind, the burger hit the spot. We'll definitely be coming back!

What a great space for parties weddings or any other special event. I recently attended the event at Franklin Square or Franklin view the tented area with chandeliers is absolutely stunning. The spaces lay out nicely if you're having a wedding one room for the actual ceremony and another for food dining dancing. If you're lucky enough to be invited to a event here do not decline. Keep in mind it is difficult to park in the area although there are garage you can walk the 4-5 blocks from Jefferson Station.

My boyfriend purchased two tickets for the carousel. I felt like a kid again and I can honestly say my boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves. Aside from the carousel, we were also able to enjoy the fountain show. We weren't able to check out the minigolf but it's a must whenever we return.

I have been here twice in the past two months. Their food is awesome. Not a huge selection but what they do offer is excellent. I can truly say the best burgers I have ever had. The chicken tenders and fries also taste amazing. If you are in the area I do recommend.

This park has definitely changed over the years. We came here to meet some friends. All of us had little kids and this place could not have been more perfect. We were the first ones there, so we went on the carousel. The ticket booth is not near the carousel itself, and they do offer bulk specials. This ticket booth is also where you would buy tickets for the mini golf. Both kids enjoyed the carousel ride. From there, we hit the playground. It is a large one and in good shape. There are things for all ages and two distinct sections. The kids spent a few hours here without being bored. We then moved to the many picnic tables and benches they have for some food. Some people brought theirs, while others bought from the small concession they had. There was real food as well and it was fairly priced. Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend this park!

I didn't order food but needed water for my dog because the pet fountain was turned off. Could not have asked for a mor pleasant interaction on a hot summer day, minutes before they closed! Quick to smile and get my pup some cool water. Thanks Square Burger employee!! 5 star service!!

The location is top notch - was enjoyable to sit in the park. Burger was just OK, but others really enjoyed the veggie burger. Waffle fries were good - prices were average.

One of five grand public squares that William Penn had envisioned for Philadelphia, North East Publick Square became Franklin Square in 1825, only to fall into a state of neglect in the 20th century. The presence of a nearby expressway nearby - and the tendency of traffic to speed around it - exacerbated a sense of isolation from the rest of the city. These days, thanks to a multi-year restoration from Historic Philadelphia, a non-profit, the square is a vibrant space, even if you'll have to dodge traffic to get to it. A grand fountain forms its core, but around it are a number of family-friendly amenities, whether a mini-golf course, a carousel, or a playground. There is also a food kiosk and restroom facilities. When I stopped by, everything was in functional shape. Thanks to all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to rehabilitate this space - thereby finally fulfilling Penn's vision for it!

Loved the mini golf. Loved the carousel and loved the water show that played every thirty minutes. Nice place to relax and walking distance of independence hall

Franklin Square is such a nice little green space in the middle of an urban area. They have plenty of benches, tables, and chairs so you can spread out and picnic, enjoy the view and soak up the sun while getting some much-needed fresh air. They have a beautiful fountain in the middle and a gorgeous (operating) carousel for children to play on. There's a little venue area for events and you can also get some food there as well from a food stand, but it's in such close proximity to so many great food options nearby in Chinatown that you don't have to worry about going hungry here. You can also clearly see the Benjamin Franklin Lightening bolt structure from this park which is pretty nifty. Apparently, Franklin Square is also one of the original squares that was planned by William Penn! I love the deep-rooted history of this park. Overall, a great place to relax and spend a day.

By no means will this place knock your socks off with a gourmet burger, but it really fits nicely into the park. They serve a cheeseburgers and veggie burgers which actually aren't too bad to grab a quick bite. They make a mean hurricane soft serve ice cream. You can also get other standards with pretzels and nachos. Prices are reasonable as well. Worth a try if you are in the park.
