I have been going to steelworks for a few months now and i have loved my experience so far. The coaches have all been great, the sense of community between the other gym goers has been amazing as well. I use to dread going to the gym and viewed it as a chore but since switching to Steelworks it’s been fresh and exciting. Everyday holds something different. They push you to be better than yesterday and use fun and creative different exercises. I have loved my experience so far and would recommend this place to anyone!

I have been a member of steelworks for about 1.5 years now. I sought to find a workout regimen that kept me engaged and helped me achieve my fitness goals and have found it here.Steelworks offers small group classes and the coaches have taken a genuine interest in your personal development. A huge selling point for me has been the weight lifting seminar offered three times a week with coach Joe. Overall, I have been satisfied with my fitness journey and the support steelworks has provided so far and looking forward to continuing.

I've been coming to Steelworks regularly for 2 years now, and that regularity is a testament to the engaging but challenging workouts offered here. I had trouble sticking to any gym routine prior to joining steelworks. In the last 2 years, I've felt my fitness improve in terms of both stamina and strength. As others have noted, the community aspect is a big draw and I've made several friends during my time here as well. The supportive community and coaches really helped push through the initial few months when I was trying workouts (such as weightlifting) that were very unfamiliar to me. I can't recommend steelworks enough!

I am so glad to have found Steelworks! Their small group training offers engaging and challenging workouts with a blend of cardio and weight training. Coach Sage does an incredible job both guiding the class through workouts, and working with individuals based off of their own fitness levels to scale movements and still get an awesome workout in. Their focus on the community makes it all the better!

I started at Steelworks to get in shape before my wedding with little to no fitness/weightlifting experience. I was very intimidated before my first class, but felt welcome and comfortable from Day 1. The community is welcoming and accepting, and the coaches taught me everything that I needed to know starting with the basics. There are always options for all comfort/experience levels and a non-judgmental atmosphere which is very important to me. I have never found a fitness routine that I liked enough to stick with, but I loved Steelworks so much that I continued even after my wedding. In the last year and a half my fitness has improved drastically which has had a positive impact on so many aspects of my life. I can’t recommend steelworks enough!

The community is like no other gym I’ve been apart of! I know and workout regularly with most of the people who have left the reviews here and can attest to their positive explanations. A lot have even turned into friendships outside of the gym.The workouts are engaging and challenging whilst allowing for scaling of the exercises to ensure people of all levels of fitness can participate and gain the progress that they want.The instructors are knowledgeable and patient and ensure the exercises are done correctly for maximum benefit and to avoid injuries. My wife and I especially want to thank Sage for being a positive instructor in every single exercise we’ve been to.We could not have felt more welcome moving to the US from Europe than by joining Steelworks!

I love my time at Steelworks Strength Systems! Before starting here, I had tried everything except weight-lifting...I would have described myself as a yoga-pilates-only kind of gal, and was intimidated by the idea of doing anything remotely similar to "cross fit." But I have to say that I'm sold! I've seen progress here in only 3 months that I haven't seen in any of my other workouts that I had done for longer stints of time. I go regularly - 3 times a week at least. The workouts are challenging, but I feel great afterwards and it feels so good to see progress. Thank you Brian & team for providing such a welcoming space/community!

10-months in, I can wholeheartedly say that joining Steelworks & Coach Sage has been a complete GAMECHANGER for my vitality!! I joined in January 2023 with zero weightlifting & strength experience, but still physically fit really only ever playing sports & distance running / cardio. When I finally decided I need to start weightlifting, I did a ton of research & listened to so many podcasts (Andrew Huberman, Rich Roll, Tim Ferris) as I really wanted to start off the right way, especially as I was doing so from scratch. This also helped ease me in too as I also came in super nervous and scared about lifting.From my very first discussions with Sage, her mentality and the programming at Steelworks aligned exactly with the some of the best approaches & methodologies I found through my research. As a beginner, she really mentored me (and still constantly does) on proper form, balancing between max effort & slower movement, breathing, the science behind different workouts, how to deal with injuries that come up, etc. Where I used to approach the gym very scared & unconfident, Sage & the other members helped me to break through that!Very grateful for entire Steelworks Team for giving me an an amazing foundation for my overall fitness & vitality with a great community of people to keep getting physically & mentally stronger each day.

The only bad thing I can say about Steelworks is that they didn't convince me to join sooner! The focus on form, safety, and mutual encouragement as we pursue our own fitness goals is exactly what I needed in a gym. Coach Sage in particular is an excellent example of what makes Steelworks great; she's skilled at working with biomechanical challenges and around injuries to keep us on track. I wish I had the time to go daily!

Steelworks is a gem in the Fairmount / Brewerytown area. Thanks to the unique and engaging workout programs, as well as the fantastic staff, I've consistently improved my overall strength and fitness week over week. The workouts are fun but also often push me outside my comfort zone, introducing exercises and circuits that I otherwise wouldn't have attempted at a typical gym chain. I highly recommend joining the Steelworks community, you'll see the benefits immediately!

I started with Steelworks in January 2023 and they restored my excitement to workout. I usually get bored in the gym but Steelworks keeps me engaged with the different/new workouts. The staff at Steelworks are very knowledgeable and patient. They never make you feel unwelcome! Steelworks is perfect for any levels of fitness. The open gym is also a bonus!

Not sure where to begin. This gym has changed my entire workout dynamic. Introduced me to workouts I’ve never even thought of and has actively engaged in fitness journey. Everyone here at the gym are so friendly and nice, it feels like a community. Best move I’ve made thus far!

Brian and his staff are awesome! The level of interest that each trainer takes in the class and each individual is second to none. They are great at catering the workouts for those that are getting started in their fitness journey or making things more challenging for those that are more experienced. The facilities are always well kept and clean and the people are all so friendly and encouraging.

Joining steelworks has been one of the best decisions I have made for my physical fitness and health. I was initially skeptical and intimidated to join as I was recovering from lower back surgery and had no weightlifting experience. But one year into the program, I feel stronger, more confident and my back has never felt better. The program is tailored to meet you at your fitness level and all the coaches are amazing and extremely patient. The steelworks community is very supportive and friendly, always cheering you on as you keep pushing to better yourself.
