Just had the same scam happen as everyone is talking about. Thugs at the pump,one takes it from my hand wrestling it away from me,never put it back and ran my card up. Have to go to PD now

On this day, 03/28/2025, I went to that gas station to fill up with fuel and it turns out that before arriving I had read the comments and was very attentive to any irregularity but just as I was arriving a teenager approached me at the window of my car and told me that there is no payment outside that I must go inside to pay to fill up with gas but before that I had seen him in the rearview mirror of my car running towards my vehicle, that is, that person does not work there but he is in cahoots with a person inside! Because just when he gave me the information he left the vehicle and turned around in a part that I couldn't see, but despite that I realized that he was texting on his cell phone and he immediately put the cell phone away and looked inwards towards the establishment and the young man who was inside looked at him then he went inside the establishment, at that same moment I realized that it was a scam and I left the place immediately.

This station frequently has the cheapest gas prices but lots of scams. Young men or teenagers loiter and will either try to pump your gas or will move the handle after you put it back so that your credit card is left open and they will fill other peoples’ cars with your tab. I just witnessed this pump switching scam this afternoon.

Very unsafe , was assaulted / harassed / shoved by men posing as gas station attendants trying to scam me and other customers. Please don’t stop here for gas it’s dangerous .

Should be zero stars. Came here to say that this scam is still going strong. Found a charge of $156 on what should of been a $40 tank of gas. DO NOT use this station, or if you do, don't let those kids touch the pump.

Visiting this Sunoco gas station can be a bit of a mixed bag. While it provides the essential service of refueling your car, the experience may not always be as smooth as one would hope. There have been times when the station is not operational, which can be quite a setback if you’re running low on gas. Additionally, the presence of people loitering around the premises, sometimes asking for money, can make the atmosphere feel less than welcoming. It’s a reminder to be aware of your surroundings and to prioritize safety when stopping by, especially during less busy hours.

There’s a scam going on here with men hovering near the pumps. I told one of them “no thanks.” when he approached me. When i was done filling up my tank he physically tried to TAKE the pump handle from me, and I had to push his hand away. I FIRMLY hung up the gas pump handle so he couldn’t freely use the gas on other cars after I left and run up my credit card.
Be warned of this fraud/scam happening here.
I am a 5 ft 110lb disabled woman and do not feel comfortable being preyed on by the men hovering at this gas station.

Card charged $150 for less than $50 of gas.. suspect their fake attendant people are not hanging up the pumps to keep charging your card and they pocket the next cash paying customers..The owners can say they try to shoo them away but I've seen the dude from inside tell them to go to a specific pump after someone looked like they went inside to prepay or something.Get a receipt or take a picture of the pump price when you're done!

Chip readers often don't work, the staff inside really don't like helping anyone. The only reason I could give them 2 stars is they often have some of the cheapest gas in the neighborhood.
