On March 4, 2024, I moved from a two story house to an apartment in a large complex. I was concerned about the efficiency of the movers once they arrived at my new home. There were many residents around and traffic. Little did I know how well things would go. I had a four man team of Lamont (the boss ) Andre, Christopher and Shaq. They were all courteous, well mannered gentlemen who also happened to be super hard working, strong and fast. They moved me from start to finish in approx 4 hours, and didn't damage any of my belongings. Lamont even helped me with decorating ideas. On top of all that, they were reasonably priced and upfront about all costs. I can't say enough good things about Superior Moving. Thanks so much, Mark, to you and the guys! AA 8 Q superior moving

Superior handled our move from Ambler, PA to Ocean City , NJ timely and professionally. Not only is their pricing superior to others their service is as well. I highly recommend their services for any moving/storage needs. They are the best.

I used Superior Moving for the second move in 3 years. Bill, Joe, and Curtis were the best team! They were punctual,efficient, honest, careful, and worked very well together to get some large furniture into my apartment. I communicated with the owner,Mark, several times before the move. He was very caring and truly wanted to make this move as smooth as possible. He listened to my needs and made certain that all was done as I expected. In this day and age, I find it unusual for an owner to be willing to listen to the customer and want to please them! Many businesses don't care if you are not satisfied. Superior Moving is the exception!! I would highly recommend these movers!!

You cannot find better movers. The price is more than fair, movers were extremely quick and very professional. The owner will do absolutely anything to help people, he's a great person and deserves all the business in the world. He gave me a MAJOR blessing recently, and I will recommend him to everyone I know.

CAUTION: I only chose a 1star review cuz giving a negative star review isn't an option. I booked my move on Monday (3 days ago). Mark, the owner, gave me a verbal estimate which is what I agreed to. And soon after I booked, I received the digital, formal estimate that asks to be signed. I noticed that half the info on it, was incorrect. The cost nor the facts about the current location or inventory of my things being moved matched anything Mark & I had discussed. Initially, I thought it was an innocent mistake. I called, explained everything and they told me it was fixed as I talked them thru all of the corrections. But, when they sent me the corrected one, they had only fixed the cost to be atleast closer to what Mark quoted me, but they didn't correct the other info and still sent it to me to sign, again. We went thru this process 3x and still incorrect. I'm obvi not signing off on false info and I deff don't feel like this move is secured, so until I have a contract w correct info I'm not moving forward with your company. I found it suspicious that they kept trying to get me to sign off on false information. The owner's excuse was, "I don't require you to sign." Well, the application that u sent me , does ask for a signature. And are u saying that nothing needs to be correct in your system? As a disabled, bed ridden person, just getting from 1 home to the other will be hard enough for me on moving day.I don't want to have to reinvent the wheel w 3 angry men on my doorstep that morning cuz he chose to document that there's only 1 flight of stairs when there are 2. THAT difference can/will change the cost of the move. That's not gonna be sprung on me all last minute as if it wasn't the first piece of info I gave u or asked u multiple times to correct. Also, I'm chronically nauseated and talking makes me get sick. Once it starts it doesn't stop and then I'm onto seizures and all kind of crappy stuff. I explained this, TRIED to limit my phone time and attempted to handle this issue via email and text but no response to any attempt. Having to call ANYWHERE 6x in 1 day, for the same matter that I keep being assured was corrected, is absolutely ridiculous. Long story short, after staying ontop of them for 3 days and repeatedly going back over the corrections (while still shopping elsewhere cuz at this point I'm extremely uncomfortable and not exactly thrilled by any of this). I got a call from a different employee to inform me that he keeps denying my move in their system (the owner keeps trying to submit it) cuz THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE AVAILABILITY TILL A MONTH AFTER THE DATE THAT HE BOOKED ME FOR. And used the pathetic excuse that Mark being the owner, just didn't want to turn away business so he "booked" it anyway. What?! They don't even have a truck that day. All of that was for NOTHING. Obvi we are not going to be using this company or recommending them to anyone. The unprofessionalism was at a high and from all 4 employees that I interacted with. Tons of empty promises by the owner. The excuses the staff is making for the owner are insulting. Then I found the rest of these horribly negative reviews and I realize just how lucky I am. Trust ur gut folks! Happy Moving :)

Don't assume the estimator is correct. Your actual moving costs will be higher than the estimate. Do not expect to be treated fairly or fair business practices before or during the move. You could be threatened your moving items will be unloaded if you do not agree to the new verbal moving cost terms.

I wanted to share my moving experience for anyone who has never moved out of state and suggest Superior Moving and Storage to relieve any anxiety. It turned out to be a perfect day in spite of the light rain and slow travel on I-95 S to Seaford Delaware. Superior Moving and Storage came out to my home initially and gave a fair estimate and since I elected to pack myself gave very helpful suggestions and were patient answering my questions. The moving crew and two trucks was made up of five men and one being the chief named Lamont . The trucks arrived on time at 7:30 am and this crew arrived ready to work and who were polite, respectful,hardworking and organized with a starting plan and an end game plan to finish that ended at 3:30 pm. Lamont the leader was inspiring and had characteristics that generated throughout his crew as enthusiastic,friendly, courtious and professional.Lamont took time to answer any questions we asked and he to asked queditions just to be certain that we were on the same page . He coordinated the move swiftly,strategically from beginning to end.

Superior Moving Service is exactly what the name implies! we had a difficult situation to deal with and the three gentlemen that assisted us today provided Superior service from start to finish! One of the worst experiences ever. Moved a Temple University student from one apartment to another. They started with a reasonable price $259. She had possessions that amounted to a little more than a dorm-sized room and they overcharged us...big time!!. Gave the spiel of why we should have 3 guys, so it will be faster. two black guys moved the stuff and one white guy stayed in the truck, "I cannot leave the truck", what a bunch of malarkey, a scam from the beginning. They turned a 10-minute ride into 40 minutes conveniently, just to run up the roadway travel charges, which cost us to lose our freight elevator slot, then they were forced to alternate with another tenant...ALL while the "meter" was still running. Then, once at the new location the mover started telling us what a horrible neighborhood it was. Needless to say that was not quite comforting to us. Then they refused to move any furniture into the place until they did a "half payment charge", never mentioned anything of the sort beforehand. So, we waited on the phone for 15 minutes for them to tell me that the charge was $705. Then after the back and forth, the decided to charge me $531, which was still double of the original estimate. I had no choices but to give them my credit card, because they were holding her furniture hostage in the truck. Then they hit the brand new wall with her sofa, caused a dent and then tried to say it was there. They did not give us their insurance claim information and then tried to get us to sign a waiver, by saying "sign here" that the truck is now empty of her possessions.... trying to be slick. After calling the owner again, he had them reduce the bill to $496...WOW!! WHATTTTT a horrible experience!!!! Please do not use SUPERIOR MOVING COMPANY in Philly. Pay a few more dollars and hire a reputable company... We sure wished we had!! Cannot prove it, (BUT FELT IT) but did not seem like they had much respect for women!!

I moved on August 11, 2023! one of my tv's were missing along with a desk chair. I have called numerous times and was told two different dates they would drop off these items tht were accidentally left on the truck. I am still waiting for them to be returned to this day. I called and left several messages and still nothing.

Used Superior for my sons move 8/29/23 in Phoenixville. Was a crew of 3. Lamont and his crew were above and beyond excellent. They were professional, fast and could not do more to make sure everything was right for us. Truck and equipment was also clean. Would highly recommend you request Lamont and the team. Thanks for making the move easy for us!!

I have used superior moving company since the 80’s and have been very happy.They are competitively priced with other movers and do a great job. The owner is very involved and takes an interest in his clients. I would highly recommend superior moving and will continue to use for any upcoming moves for me or my family.

This is my 4th time using this company and I'm so thrilled with their service. They moved my parents and took such great care of their belongings and treated them like they were family. I recommend Superior to all my friends and family whenever they need a mover.
