Very expensive and I have never shopped at a supermarket that does not have bags for your groceries.

This supermarket is a hike for me but I go early on the weekends when the place opens and the crowds are light. Plenty of parking. Bring your bags and a friend. You can't take the cart to your car so you need someone to pack and wait with your groceries while you pull the car up. There are tons of ethnic food options here. I come w/ mom and we find all sorts of things we can't find in delco. Staff is friendly and helpful. Shelfs are stocked with TONS of options. Security guard is at the door. I will be back!

New to the area, and this place is so close so why not try it? The meat deals are great if they make sense for your family, but the meat is AWFUL. I've been shopping here for ab two months and every time I go one of the weekly meals has made me literally vomit. Sour steak, chicken expired on the shelves (yelp won't let me post the video proof), spice containers are half full, and so many things are either behind the wrong price (be prepared to walk back with the manager to show them cause they won't believe you). So many red flags I felt obligated to post on Yelp for God sake I wanted to support this family owned business so much, but my literal health as at risk shopping here. Feel free to shop there, prices are fine, DONT BUY MEAT THERE

I went to cousins today 12/11/2022 and was sold rancid porgie fish $15 dollars worth. The guy lied to me and said it was clean it was not. Uncleaned fish doesn't store well and starts to rot after a day and I have no idea how long this uncleaned fish was out. I attempted to clean the fish myself but the flesh is soft, rancid and inedible. The place is closed but this is disgusting with how expensive food is it's irresponsible to be selling rancid food I cleaned food to people. Also how is uncleaned fish selling for $5 a pound ?!? I need a refund

You must be able speak and understand Spanish because if not then the customers will try to cut the line and get smart with you but the workers are very hard working and polite and you must go in the middle of the month because their not as crowded but they have good prices

I tried to like this market a few times because they have a wide variety of items - however they sell expired food and even a good chunk of their food that isn't expired still has mold on it. I bought creamer that is supposed to be good for another two months and there was mold all inside the cap - and fresh dairy I've bought was either sold past the expiration date or not normal quality. Only reason I didn't give one star is because they have a lot of variety for shelf items and cleaning supplies that can be useful

As newcomers to Philly (from the Midwest) and to the area, we have been searching for a grocery store within walking distance that was worth the walk. I think we have found it. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the store AND the affordable prices on several items as well as the freshness of the produce and meat/butcher shop. We will be making regular visits for our groceries.

The only reason I didn't give this a 1 star is because they actually have a great selection of spices and international ingredients. BUT I found mold this flat bread on two separate occasions. I intended to use them as soon as I bought them, so it's not like I had them shirting around. Foul smell, moldy bread, and the vegetables go bad quick.

I come here and only here when I want to make a southern meal you greens, sweet potatoes, potatoes salad, ham hocks you get it. This store has all the ingredients I need at a reasonable price and they have a few brands to choose from. FYI if you're not familiar with the store you will be doing a lot of walking. It's usually full long lines but the folks at the registers are quick so it's no biggie because you have all the boxes on your grocery list checked off. The store is relatively clean. It's full and some of the aisles are a challenge to maneuver through. I like that they have a lot of ethic food ingredients. The area I see the most people is in the produce and butcher area you know where the fresh meat is located. The bathroom is at the back of the store.

You can find varieties of Middle Eastern food here. There's one aisle dedicated for this. Also varieties of sweets and boxes of dates during Ramadan.

i came here expecting some mecca of latin ingredients. it was fine but i actually found none of the specialty ingredients i was looking for. it's pretty much a regular grocery store with a few extra goya items. certainly nothing to go out of my way for. the workers were friendly and helpful.
