food is amazing this review is about the light skin security guard working on 4/7. I come here all the time like literally twice a week and HAVE NEVER been disrespected by the security guards on this specific day I drove pass two cars in the parking lot bc they weren’t moving once i found a place to park the guard came over with an attitude and was very rude to me and my sister I’m not sure if it was a race thing but he was very condescending like we didn’t deserve to shop there because of a mix up at the car parking lot entrance someone should speak to this young man because his anger is scary and I feared for my
safety in my car as he approach he already seemed irritated and began to scold me and my sister over a accident i also have video of him approaching and using foul language

I visited this TJ’s today and it’s probably my last time at this location. The store is always clean and well stocked, however the size of the parking lot is an issue for how many customers they serve. I always accepted that driving here was a little stressful and required some patience, but I had a final straw moment today. The security guard in the lot was in a bad mood and yelling at everyone. I was in a queue to enter the lot when he signaled for me to pull up through the entrance gate. I did, until he signaled for me to stop. I stopped. He then came to my window and started yelling that all the customers don’t know how to drive, what’s wrong with all of us, we don’t do as he says, etc. I was pretty stunned because I pulled up exactly as he had instructed me to. He had some altercation with the person in front of me too, and neither of us appeared to do anything that could’ve caused issue or offense. I know he could’ve just been having a bad day, but the context of his job invalidates that as an excuse in my opinion. I was alone, I was probably half his size, and I didn’t know if he was armed to any extent (he was in a uniform). Also, he’s security… he is supposed to deescalate heated situations. Not cause them. This location is not really any different from the TJ’s on 15th street, which is within walking distance for me, so I’ll probably just go there instead from now on. I don’t really feel comfortable driving here anymore and it’s too far away to walk to.

Busy as hell most days but staff makes the checkout line disappear rather quickly

Trader Joe’s offers a great selection of unique and interesting products you won’t find in a typical grocery store. From specialty snacks to fresh produce and frozen meals, there’s always something new to try. They also have a lovely selection of flowers, which adds a nice touch to the shopping experience.
I went on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed! The cashier mentioned that Sundays are their busiest day, which makes sense given the crowds. If you prefer a more relaxed shopping experience, it might be better to go on a weekday. Overall, a great place to shop—just be prepared for the weekend rush!

Everyone working is very friendly and there is a large selection of food, but depending on the time of the day many things tend to run out.

Our go to grocery store! It’s the closest one to us, has everything we need, always has fun seasonal items, well priced, friendly staff, good hours. I like how streamlined this store is and that they don’t have 628 varieties of each item. It makes shopping simple. Minus 1 star because the parking lot line from market street to 22nd is going to literally cause an accident and kill someone and needs to be problem-solved by either Trader Joe’s or the city itself. Otherwise, excellent. We come here at least once a week for all of our essentials - olive oil, berries, eggs, baked goods, even toilet paper, paper towels, and face scrub.

I love shopping at Trader Joe’s. It feels good knowing there are plenty of healthy options to choose from, and a lot of the items are reasonably priced.

I come to this location quite often and I have to say this experience was the worst. I came in Friday and was informed about the power outage. However, to see employee working in the cold was hard to watch. I came in this morning and a worker on the floor stated he nor his co workers are getting hazard pay for working in a climate suitable for humans. I hope they get heat and compensation for the inconvenience of their labor.

I recently visited Trader Joe's at 2121 market on Friday, and I must say, my experience raised some concerning issues that I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, I was informed about a power outage that had been affecting the store since Thursday. This situation is understandably challenging for any retail establishment, yet I was taken aback by the fact that employees were still required to work in the cold storage areas without any hazard pay
I returned to shop on the following morning, only to discover that the employees were continuing to operate under these difficult and potentially unsafe conditions without additional compensation. It's disheartening to witness hardworking staff enduring such circumstances without the support they deserve
While I appreciate the dedication of the Trader Joe's team during this challenging time, I believe it's crucial for the company to reassess their policies regarding employee welfare, especially during emergencies. Ensuring that employees are adequately compensated for working in unsafe environments should be a priority
In conclusion, while I value the products and overall shopping experience at Trader Joe's, I hope the management will take the necessary steps to protect and support their employees in the future.

Trader Joe's is usually a great shopping experience, but this particular location has some logistical issues that make visits challenging.
The parking lot is very cramped, and the lot attendant stands at the entrance with limited visibility, which can make parking feel chaotic. Inside, the store layout is tight and doesn't accommodate the high volume of foot traffic well. You enter right into a bottlenecked produce section, which can feel a bit claustrophobic.
One major issue is the checkout line—it often wraps around the back of the store, creating a real congestion problem. The cashiers use paddles to signal availability, but shorter-height cashiers are sometimes overlooked, which adds to the wait. Given the space constraints, it's tough to navigate with a cart, especially when the store is crowded.
On the positive side, the staff here is fantastic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have some of the best baggers around. They always take care to pack your items securely, which is much appreciated.
Overall, this location is too small for the volume of shoppers, but the excellent customer service helps make up for it.

Went at 8 am when they opened, but it was hard to find what I needed, as aisles were blocked by restocking employees and packed with customers. Had to go to another grocery store after this visit. Not a fan of this location.

Well stocked but they need serious work with the parking lot situation and they have cars entering this location from the street side leading all the way back up to the intersection which is a block back this is atrocious they really need to get this situation under control or build a bigger parking lot or move their location to a bigger space parking situation stinks needs to be fixed ASAP I'm quite sure they've caused plenty of accidents with the pile up of cars coming into this parking lot leading back to market Street it's just a truce they really need to address the situation of the cars pulling into the parking lot from market Street they're causing an huge uproar with traffic their leading all the way back out to the highway there's a line always right after that short line there's another line sometimes that line wraps around the building onto market Street it needs to be addressed I've seen several people get into car accidents and bicycle accidents due to this

Dislocation is very well stocked with their regular items. Just a very small space and lines can get long but move quickly.
