Built in a patterned brick style common to the 18th century, Old Trinity Church was completed in 1711, replacing a log meeting house which dated to 1698. The well maintained church is surrounded by numerous 18th and 19th century grave sites and markers, including Civil War Rear Admiral James L Lardner who died in 1881.

The church here was first built in 1698, before the country started! A majority of my family has gone here from 1984-2002. The minister back then was Phyllis Taylor. And when my mom(Judy Lyons) first went the minister was Noble Smith! And from 2009-2017 Richard Robyn was the churches minister. If you live in the Lawndale, Castor Gardens or Mayfair area, and are a christian, then I highly recommend going. It has a lot of history to it!
