I truly don’t have a single negative thing to say about Tuck. Callie and her team have built the most amazing community of kind people who have each other’s backs and want to see everyone thrive. The studios are bright and clean and filled with gorgeous plants - the best vibes! The instructors are your biggest cheerleaders, somehow always knowing just what you need in the moment; they’re ready to push you through a challenging sequence or give you the space to rest on your mat. From Feel Good Flow to Sculpt to Barre Bounce, there’s a class for every kind of intensity (or lack thereof) you want. And if you’d prefer to workout from home, there’s Tuck Online! Tuck has changed my relationship with exercise in the best way. Now, it’s something I love to do, not something I force myself to do. Don’t walk, RUN to a Tuck class!!!!

How do I properly express how incredible this studio is?! From the teachers to the actual studio spaces to the clients - it’s simply a lovely, welcoming, beautiful little safe space. I bounce between Washington Square and Point Breeze (so nice that the membership allows for both) and have tried a variety of the barre and yoga classes. They’re all just….GREAT! Really, really love it here at Tuck. If you have a chance to check them out, it’s worth it.

Tuck is such a special place! It is warm, welcoming, and personal in a way that few studios are. I’ve been coming to Tuck for over 4 years and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon! The barre classes are a fantastic workout with a wide variety of options so that on any given day, I can choose what feels right to me. 100/10, would recommend to anyone seeking a fun, energizing, supportive fitness experience.

I love this place. The classes are varied and challenging. I go 3-4 times a week but when I was new I felt immediately welcome, and that’s the culture of the place. It’s small and intimate, which makes it feel less intimidating than other studios with bigger space and more attendees. The perfect blend of community and hard work. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a new barre or yoga studio or even if you’re just in town briefly.

Tuck is an amazing and extremely inviting barre studio that I am so happy I discovered last year. The space is bright with real plants all around the room, and the bathroom is stocked with so many amenities. More importantly, the teachers are all (and I do mean all) fantastic at what they do, and are incredibly welcoming and non-intimidating. Similarly, the class attendees are very friendly and down to earth. I have met great people there, and it's always fun to see the same people again and again in workouts. This is NOT your typical boutique studio. It has an intentionally non-boutique feel, which I appreciate so much but found very hard to find when I lived elsewhere (cough, Rittenhouse, cough). In terms of instructors, I almost never miss Katie's barre class on Tuesday am or Rachel's yoga class on Wed eve. Both have become important parts of my weekly routine. You also can't go wrong with any of Callie K's classes (she is the owner and teaches both barre and yoga). Her yoga and barre classes are fantastic, and she often brings her pup who greets people at the start of class! What more could you ask for?The pricing is very reasonable too, especially for unlimited memberships. As Philly studios get less and less affordable, I am super appreciative of this! Very grateful to have Tuck about 10 mins walk away from my Queen Village apartment!

I love the yoga and barre classes at Tuck!! I have never stuck to working out before but the friendly yet motivating energy of the all the instructors kept me going. I especially like the barre classes with Amanda, and the yoga classes with Rachael and Jordyn. Barre burns but yoga restores for me. Can’t talk about about how much i love this studio

This gem of a studio deserves way more than 5 stars. I am a Washington West devotee and look forward to every class. The workouts are challenging and fun. I LOVE the instructors. It is rare to find a place this wonderful and filled with so much kindness. I can’t recommend Tuck enough.

Tuck is the perfect studio - the teachers are good motivators, the music is fun, the place is clean, and there is a balanced variety of barre and yoga at convenient times of the day, and everyone is welcoming to each other. I started going at the beginning of the year and I already feel stronger.

It's been such a gift to come to Tuck every week - the studio is warm, inclusive, welcoming, and the instructors are always encouraging, finding the balance between pushing you outside your comfort zone while also honoring your limitations. I passed by the studio countless times in the past, and finally decided last April to take the plunge, and I'm so thankful I did! I still remember walking into Katie's 7:15AM class after doing "research" online on what barre was and what to expect - I had no idea what I was doing but I came out of the experience so sore (how could my ribs ache?!) but also invigorated and energized.Coming from a proud couch potato, I never thought I'd enjoy sweating so much until coming here. Shout out to the wonderful instructors (especially Vanessa, Ann, Katie, Alex, Jordyn, Amy and Callie) and their awesome playlists, but most importantly for creating such a great community.

Yesterday I went to an awesome outdoor "Barre at the Square" class hosted by Tuck Barre & Yoga! Their instructor Emily led us through a killer outdoor workout on the grass. She adjusted the pace and exercise difficulty to the range of skill levels we had in the class. She was so personable! She came by after class to chat with everyone. We really liked her!! Thanks Tuck Barre for putting this on! We'll certainly be back!

I've been reluctant to write a review because I feel like Tuck is such a hidden gem in the neighborhood and I want to keep it to myself! I am so grateful I found this space last fall, now I come to Tuck nearly every single day. The clientele are the kindest people I've ever encountered- becoming a regular at Tuck has introduced me to so many amazing women in the neighborhood. The workout is challenging but never impossible, there is lots of attention given to providing modifications and focusing on what feels good for your body. No two classes are ever the same which I absolutely need to avoid getting bored. For barre, I have been known to say Katie's barre at 7:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays is the best part of my week. I also love Vanessa's barre class. I am not as much of a yogi but I adore Rachael's Wednesday night yoga class and Elizabeth's Tuesday night restorative. I especially love that the class packs don't expire. Please never change that! The only thing I'll mention is that some instructor's playlists can get repetitive, and that the studio is only sporadically stocked with essentials like tissues and tampons. I also wish the studio offered more class times because the classes (especially morning and weekend classes) can be difficult to get into.
