Reserved a 15’ truck online only to get there and the manager be very rude due to him having other problems going on I overheard him telling the employee in the front with him that he needed to recover two stolen vehicles and he was even rude to his employee in front if me i dont know why she still works for him. They would not accept my form of payment for whatever reason and i asked him to at least try to see if the system accepted it and he refused saying that he already tried with a customer before me. He inconvenienced me and my family extremely with the least bit of sympathy, he literally just wanted me to get out his face and that was clear. He then lied and told me that the deposit was going to be $200 on top of the rental fee and that all Uhaul locations have the same policy and will not accept my card just to try and discourage me from renting even further . He ultimately just did not want to help me. Very rude does not need to deal with customers at all. If you go to this location avoid the short chubby asian man at all cost he will make your day worse. I went to the location on E Oregon Ave instead and paid with the EXACT debit card that he refused to run and had no issues whatsoever, he simply just didnt want to do his job.

I was once an employee here as a housekeeper and i served uhaul for 1 year and 8 months only to be fired with no evidence or no legit explanation as to why by a new manager who has zero experience in management!!! My old boss Javier had trained me to do my job as efficiently as possible to make it thus far and I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody!!! He Definitely ignores the customers and employees. And most importantly he flirts with female employees at the job site… seeing as he tossed a pass at me and shut him down completely!!!! Horrible service and experience.

Booking was easy and I was able to book movers too. The pick up was not so simple… I signed up for mobile and the page wouldn’t continue through loading so I went inside instead. There was no one at the counter and someone in a back office talking loudly on the phone. After about 3 guests arrived someone finally knocked on the back office guys door. He came out and everything went smoothly, but I was waiting there for about 15 mins to get my truck :/The movers were great once they arrived. They were 2 hours late from finishing an earlier job. Once they came they were great, we got everything done and over with quickly with little to no damage

My family needed a daytime rental so we went online and reserved a truck & handtruck (for moving household appliances from nearby businesses and suburbs) from the 314-322 N 13th Street Uhaul location in Philadelphia. We were running a few minutes late on the morning of the rental so we called the office and spoke to Nicholas who cheerfully reassured us our tardiness would be a non-issue. We got to the location a few minutes before 9am where same the Sales Associate (Nicholas) was quickly able to help us complete the necessary details for the rental contract. Although juggling a couple of customers at the same time he was consistently positive, informative and energetic with everyone. The van we rented was virtually brand-new (less than 7k miles on odometer) and perfectly suited our day of moving. When we finished up our moving tasks and needed to return the vehicle, the same smiling Sales Associate (Nicholas) promptly came out and met us on the curb to make sure everything went well for us. He verified the information on our contract paperwork and let us know that final billing details would be forwarded via email as soon as he looked the truck over and pulled it back into the Uhaul garage. This was simply one of the most positive, professional and stress-free truck rentals we've ever done.

Don't advertise that it is easier to rent the truck online. Everything I did online and on the app, I had to do again before they would give me the truck. The location is supposed to open at 7AM and most mornings no one is there before 730 -745. Really created a problem because the person that was going to help me unload the truck had to leave by 730 - we couldn't get in so he had to leave and while unloading a cabinet alone, it fell and broke into pieces and was unrepairable. Otherwise, the cargo van I rented was awesome.

Ashley H. has great customer service skills, helping me locate lost keys I left in a Uhaul truck. Even if I do not find them, she is trying her best and anyone can appreciate that!

Place is infested with rats .I rented this storage unit back in 2015 with cautious expectations regarding the occasional presence of mice, given its air-conditioned environment that could attract rodents during the winter months. Initially, it wasn't too bad, but fast forward to today, and my experience has taken a turn for the worse.The situation has deteriorated significantly since my initial rental. To make matters worse, there's now a rat trap ominously placed in my unit, confirming the undeniable rat infestation issue. It's disheartening to discover rat droppings littering my belongings. As someone who travels frequently for work, I entrusted this storage unit with sentimental items that I hold dear. However, it's becoming increasingly challenging to maintain their condition.Sadly, it has reached a point where I can't continue to deal with this mess. I've made the difficult decision to vacate this storage unit by this time next year. It's a disappointing outcome for a facility that initially seemed promising, but the rat infestation has become a deal-breaker. I hope future renters will have a more positive experience or that the management takes necessary steps to address this issue promptly

UHAUL isn't well liked for a reason. Their Customer Service will BLATANTLY lie to you to get you off the phone. OUTRIGHT LIES. They force you to download their app. They did not have the size truck that I ordered a week in advance. and completely messed up my move because of it.

Came in for a question waited 30 minutes, The owner whose name is "JAVIER" was extremely rude and unprofessional no wonder you have no business buddy . Straight up scumbag please do not come here for the sake of your higher power!!

If i could give this place a 0 star I would.Please, save yourself the time and stress and find a more professional U-haul.This location lost everything in my unit and did not work with me to ensure I was compensated. Only when I went through the regional office, did I get anything accomplished.I have many colorful and not nice things to say about the manager Javier, who avoided me for months, barely lifted a finger to help me, and was reluctant to even refer me to the proper people.Again, SAVE YOURSELF!!!

Truck pick up actually went okay but I was asked to wait to complete the storage reservation with another cust. serv. rep. Walked in at 9:15 am with like 6 people in line. After waiting over an hour to get the truck and my storage reservation at this location complete I lost patience and ended up canceling my storage reservation. Your process for getting customers with reservations out the door is waaaaaay to long. The employees were trying but there are too many steps for what should be a much easier process. Also, the pricing on-line is misleading. They didn't have the size unit I had reserved on-line. No price accommodation for not having it. I would have expected a larger unit at the same price, but only offered smaller unit at the same price I reserved. Then while they sell U-Haul locks at the counter for $6-7, in order to lease a unit you have to buy their special lock that you are required to use for an additional $20. Hidden fees, long check in process is frustrating for the customer and their employees who were putting out fires left and right to help customers. It was Sunday so no manager on site. If you come to this location on 13th Street pack a lunch.

A very disappointing Uhaul experience to say the least. For one, I set the pickup time for 8am when making my reservation. I get there and the guy tells me I can't get my truck until 9am. Why would they allow me to sign up for an 8am pickup time??? Bad start. Once we finally got our trunk, the wrong dolly is in the back. Along with that, there were furniture blankets (that I did not order) that were soaking wet. The truck did the job, but it wasn't smooth. The key was so small for the truck I had to nearly break my fingers to turn it on because it was impossible to grip onto it. Hurt pretty bad every time. We had issues getting the ramp back and secure into the truck for whatever reason, again using all our might to push it back into place. And the latch to open the back of truck was extremely tough to open and would get stuck every time. Lastly, the gas tank only had a 1/4 tank of gas left in it. I got charged $37 for gas but I know I certainly did not use that much. This was a less than ideal experience, moving is stressful enough I didn't need all these add ons. Next time I'll be using a different truck company.

This location should be avoided. Management is unprofessional and shady. The manager Javier quoted us one price when we got a storage unit then “didn’t remember the conversation” when we were billed incorrectly, and refused to honor what he originally told us. Also the units themselves have big pillars in them which reduce the square footage so you don’t get what you think you are getting.

Pulled up, dropped the truck, got a lyft away. CHECK THE GAS LEVEL before you drop off. The uhaul employee won't do you any favors by calling that out, they'll just charge you.
