Do business at your own risk. Document everything! Take before pictures and after pictures. They will charge you a fee for putting one gallon of gas at your "convenience". Keep in mind they only give you a 1/4 tank of gas to begin with.If there is one crumb of "debris" in the vehicle, they will charge you a fee. Keep in mind they give you the vehicle dirty to begin with.

I wish I could remember the representative's name who helped me, but it’s been very busy, and I can’t at the moment. The representative was extremely helpful and polite. He resolved all of my rental needs, and I left the store 100% satisfied with the service I received. Honestly, U-Haul has been stellar with my moving needs, and I will continue to use U-Haul. Thank you for a pleasant experience. Your competitors have a lot to learn from.

beware (below) Very easy checkout although self reservation NEVER works, still was able to get a truck in the requested size, sometimes u-haul makes changes day of…but beware they don’t accept any “unofficial bank” or have contactless pay available. for such an large national company their practices are still outdated and inconvenient

This location gave away a reservation that was set up in beginning of October for a December use and didnt do anything to help situation. Unorganized, staff dont know what theyre doing and do not communicate well. Was told truck was at a quarter tank but was at 9miles until empty. Was told to put gas in, use Uhaul as needed and not to worry about gas but was charged for gas when the truck was returned. This is by far the worst Uhaul experience in the 10 years of us using Uhaul and will not be using them ever again.

Store says they close at 3, just called at 2 for propane and he turned me away saying they about to close. Never use this location again!

Upon arrival they told me they didn’t have the utility dolly and only had one out of the two furniture dolly’s I requested over a week ago. No phone call was made to make me aware so I can make other adjustments. And they don’t accept prepaid cards they aren’t clear when they say “debit” staff didn’t care or didn’t offer any discounts for inconvenience. Won’t ever do business here ever again on GOD. They get two stars cause they had a truck. Only thing

I honestly have no idea how this location is still open. Any time I go to them they have an “issue” with their system or propane and tell me go to the Allegheny location. They just sit their on their phones and do nothing. Worst service I ever experienced. I now know to never go here again. Complete waste of time.

Staff is disrespectful, they charge any fees they want to for cleaning even if vehicle is clean. They don’t help solve any issues. They are quicker to cure customers out then to help find solutions for simple issues like overpriced cleaning fees!

Worst customer service you can imagine. Employees refuse to help, don't get up from their chairs, stay on the phone playing video games while customer is asking for help and then they get loud so the customer feels threatened and eventually leave. That's the experience you get at this location.

I made a reservation last Wednesday for on 7/29/22 at the 101 W Hunting Park Ave Philadelphia, PA 19140 location for 12:30p upon arrival the representative at the desk said the system canceled my reservation?!? And this location doesn’t have any other truck available. This is very frustrating because I have to move out by 3p and I have movers waiting on my. I’ve been here since 12:30p and it’s now 2:30p no one is helping me with a solution instead the staff members are having a blast taking about how empty there wall is!!! I finally got help over the phone and ended up going to the location on Allegheny ave at 2:45p but I’ve yet to receive my $50 guarantee.

I won't make that mistake again. I wanted to put a hitch on my car so I could tote some bikes. My mom recently did this at a UHaul in the suburbs. She said it took about an hour. So I started looking around the city for a UHaul that did the sit and wait on site while the work is performed. I brought my work stuff so I can do that while I wait. So I get there at 6:57 and I'm in the place by 6:59. First one in the door. The fella that opened it goes and sits behind the desk. So he doesn't say anything after that. Just pulls out what looks to be his personal cell. So I'm like hey I just followed you in. I'm here to get a hitch put on. I have an appointment for 7am. So he's like ok leave your key. The guys not here yet. I'll call you when It's done. So I was like ok gave him my key and walked out. Then I was like oh snap! My wife booked it so they probably don't have my number. So went back in and he had me write it on a post it. There was no where to sit and wait so I walked to the Dunkin Donuts. I sat there and worked from approx 7:15 to 8:20ish and then walked back. As I'm walking back I see in the middle of the garage is the same cleaning cart that was there when I arrived. I go around the side and my car is still there. So I'm confused. Was anything done?I go in and no one is there. Another customer comes in and says he can't find anyone inside or out. So I walk out with him and no one's around. I don't know how long it was before he magically appeared outside but it probably felt longer than it was. So anyway he goes in to his desk sits down and pulls out his phone. Starts texting. So I walked up and I'm like hey is my car done? He's like no. I would've called you if it was done. 2-3 more hours. I texted the photo of the car. So I'm like texted me the photo? He's like no the guy performing the work. He isn't here yet. I could see this conversation was going no where so I walked out. Then I was like well Uber is expensive so I'll just rent a UHaul for $19.95 and leave it here. I go back in and ask if I can rent anything on the lot. There are like 25-30 vans/trucks/box trucks and two were returned while I was there. So I asked. He said no everything is booked. Then I walked outside again. Here we are now it's 8:49. There is no one here that can do the work and the person at the desk doesn't even look at me whenever I'm speaking to them. I finally decide to call it quits. I go in and say I want to cancel and get a refund. He never looks up from his cell. Pushed the key towards me and says it will be refunded. So I leave. It's a 15 minute ride home. In that time the general manager called my wife. Said he was the one doing the hitch and he doesn't understand why I left. He had personal stuff going on and he thought the install was at 8. He just got there. So even if it was 8 you're still an hour late. We called UHaul because I was worried we wouldn't actually get our refund. They refunded us and called the GM to get his side of the story. I feel like this is just a story of terrible communication. If the person at the desk could've be a little clearer on when the guy performing the work was arriving I might have stayed. I even gave myself 3 hours for this. My next appointment wasn't until 10am. I would not ever use this branch again.

Attendant was very helpful when I dropped off a oneway truck from NYC. He inspected the truck instantly, and began to prepare it for the next rental immediately after receiving. Thanks for the speedy check out. Highly recommend

The black guy that they have as an employee in there doesn’t know how to treat customers he does not explain or help you when we talk about asking for extra charges. It’s the worst Uhaul place because the manager is not there when you ask and they even give trucks and vehicles in really bad conditions. But not only that they charge a lot extra and if the truck gets a problem they make you wait a lot for towing guys.

Long story short, I needed a trailer but couldn't get the wiring kit anywhere for my Honda pilot. The owner Tone listened to my problem, and helped me get a 10' van for almost the same price, with extra milage. Very generous and helpful! Thanks, man!
