Carol Colantuono is the BEST and most professional stylist out of all the salons I been to. She did a very dynamic and time consuming long bob on me and I loved it. She made me feel comfortable and allowed me to lead the way but also gave suggestions. She took her time and advised me on how to style at home. She is very professional, kind and knowledgeable with many of styles and tools to get the look you need. Book with her. You won’t regret it!!!!

I been coming to this location for years and certain employees such as the manager/supervisor and the beauty advisor always quick to talk to me but my last visit nobody greeted me or asked if I needed anything the cashier seem like she had an attitude when I asked did I have any points I’m a platinum member. The manager was talking to other guests and was loud almost showing me she is talking to other guests except for me. I won’t be coming back it’s so many other locations throughout Philadelphia I can go too. Treat each guest the same and be professional it’s all apart of customer service is my recommendations because at the end of the day rather you like the person or not this is a business and you have a job to do which is be nice and welcoming.

I have not experienced customer service like this in years. Megli is amazing and so patient: The brand that I used apparently reformulated and every time I bought the same shade, I kept bringing it home and it was completely different. She took the time to go through literally every shade until I found the one that I was looking for. Every time I go in I will specifically ask for her. My wallet and I thank you!

They definitely could hire people that actually have customer service skills.
Literally the entire store is lacking professionalism and customer service skills.
I was here to pick up an order and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Greeted everyone kindly as I walked in and not one of them greeted me back.
This made me feel very unwelcome and not to mention the cashier was so very rude and had an “I don’t care” attitude when I asked about my pick-up order. She ignored me and then when she felt like finally tending to me she continued with her “I don’t care” attitude. She was even rolling her eyes and all when I said I have my email confirmation which she said she couldn’t take without my ID and I even showed my receipt and my account on my phone which she rolled her eyes again and said she wasn’t going to give me my order without my physical government ID.
It’s crazy that I was about to spend $200+ dollars and decided to just walk out of there because it was obvious my business wasn’t welcomed or needed there. I will let the pick-up waiting period to come to an end so that I can finally receive my refund.
Never again, will I ever buy anything at any Ulta especially this one!

Love ulta. Some of their locations now carry Chanel and Tatcha, two of my favs.
Love that you can test the product or see if it’s a good look for you.
Waitstaff is courteous and friendly.

Very chit chatty—employees grouped in front of one of the displays and had the longest and strongest grip on an irrelevant conversation that can be heard 4 isles away. No greeting or eye contact upon entry, assistance felt careless and rushed. Employees walk past without a care in the world, literally thought they were the customers. Pretty sure I heard one of the employees talk about me which is weird behavior LOL. Felt watched and followed the whole time. Just wanted to test out some new releases and even then I still felt uncomfortable in there. Giving high school 2.0, what a sad environment.

If you have long hair and want it to stay that way never let Carol in the salon cut your hair because apparently to her cutting off half your hair is what trimming the dead off means.

I had a really disappointing experience at this store this evening. I came in with a gift card and did make a purchase, but I likely would have continued shopping if I hadn’t felt so uncomfortable. While browsing, I noticed store associates closely following me and even looking into a shopping bag I had from another store. It made me feel targeted and unwelcome, and the experience has left me feeling uneasy even after I left. I expect to feel safe and respected when shopping, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

Sales Manager went through my phone app and then proceeded to check my personal email to check for 20% off coupon without asking for permission. In the end, violated my privacy and didn’t even honor the coupon because she could not find the code.

Came here to smell some perfumes and the first thing the employee mentioned was that someone had just stolen the same perfume i requested to smell and threatened to use violence (specifically said she would clock me and take me outside) if i “tried” her. I awkwardly chuckled which i regret but I was super in shock and didn’t even catch her name but definitely will be avoiding this Ulta location from now on.
