Definitely THE worst post office in Philly. The shipping supplies are always empty and they apparently make up their own hours. The "lunch sign" says closed from 1-2:30, but it NEVER opens back up at 2:30. I wasn't aware that government employees receive a hour and a half lunch let alone more than that!

I would be amazed if this wasn’t the worst post office in the entire country. Hardly keep any standard shipping products in stock and they apparently just make up whatever hours they’d like and lock up when they feel like it.If you need anything or want to be able to mail something during normal business hours I recommend not wasting your time and just go elsewhere.

Went to the cottman and frankford Philadelphia branch, associate was great.I'm sorry I didnt get his name,I was mailing a passport renewal application. He asked me if I wanted him to check it to make sure it was in order, I told him sure,Glad I did,had some issues that would have delayed it getting processed.he was wearing a navy veteran hat and wore glasses with a beard..he should be commended for his professional work ethic..and I and my wife thank him for his service..

Closed everyday from 1pm to 2:30pm for lunch! Ever heard anything like this? Only in the 3rd world countries is this possible. This USPS is another representation of how sad and how hopeless we became as a country and a society.

I had something important to mail and needed to purchase a mailing envelope as well. I showed up at the branch on Frankford and Cottman Avenue at 3:20 pm (closing time is 4:30 pm.). There is a sign on the door that says they are closed for lunch from 1-2:30 p.m. due to staffing shortage. Why weren't they open at 3:20 pm.? Lights were out and grate was down over the counter. Not impressed. On the way to my next stop, I decided to use the Roosevelt Mall post office which I should have known better to use. Customer service is horrible and there are always lines. One of the clerks shouted something about if you had boxes you can leave them on the counter. Unprofessional. I needed to get in line because I had to pay for a mailer I purchased. Will be avoiding the Roosevelt Mall post office from now on. I could go on but you get the gist.

Unfortunately I would give it 0 stars! This guy (in a navy veteran hat) has a horrible attitude. The mail IS NOT THE NAVY! You're working on the USPS?♂️.Terrible attitude for 9:10 am!

The lady is very nice and helful, but they sometimes close before the posted hour without any notice. They should have made a notice to prevent wasting time of me and other customers.

Walked to this post office today only to find that it is closed with a A4 white paper saying " on lunch break, come back in 1 hour" I walked all the way to the establishment because I've confirmed the office hours online to be open. But I have to walk all the way home in this hot a** day because they decide to not post lunch hours online and a HOUR lunch break? Tf you eating back there. Every time I come to this post office they are rude and not helpful. They do not smile when you greet them. They also try their best to use the least amount of words as possible when dealing with customers. The most words I got were when they were stating the amount of money I had to pay for a package. Their attitudes are really bad. If you don't like your job or don't want business then close down like wtf.

I hate when you walk into an establishment and the people getting paid to help you avert their eyes and walk away when a customer walks through the door. That's the vibe here for sure. While I only had to wait a few minutes it was still rude as hell. When the woman came out from the back to help me she managed to do so without saying a word. It actually got weird, having your existence go completely unacknowledged. She didn't even ask me if I had any lithium batteries or anything hazardous in my package. Of course I tried to out-rude the teller so I didn't say a word either and we just had the weirdest, tensest exchange in the history of the post office. I'm not sure what it is about government jobs that make people think they can be outrageously rude but that sentiment is alive and well here.
