A few months ago I tried to buy stamps with my company card and was asked for ID to which I showed my company ID but the worker told me she needed to see real ID which I didn't have on me. I thought this was weird and annoying so left and went to another location on 7th and Arch and purchased the stamps with no issue. Today I went in to this location to ship a package and it was the same worker. First, she was asleep in the corner and had to be woken up by a customer in front of me. Then when I handed her my package she said she couldn't issue me a receipt because the postage was dated 8/8 and today is 8/11. I never heard of this and recently shipped a package at the 7th and Arch location and again had no issue there.. So I guess I'll continue going to 7th and Arch!

I have gone to this location for the past few years. The staff have always been polite and cordial, and even as short staffed as they are, they always accommodate customers. I have seen first hand. I will continue to go here for mailing envelopes and packages.

WARNING: This location refuses to ship Poshmark packages. They will only accept packages if the label was made on the same day you are dropping off. I ship Poshmark packages from various USPS locations around the city and NEVER had this issue ever. Super irritated I went there just to have my packages refused even though the labels ARE valid. The employees really need to be retrained. I then went to the South Philly post office and had no problem shipping the packages.

Showed up a little before 8:30 to drop off a package right when they open. 8:30 roles around and no one was there. Waited 10 minutes then finally left.

This is really the worse place to ship a package. I shipped an envelope priority (paid $10) on 3/25/25 at noon going to Charleston SC. On the receipt it shows estimated delivery 3/28/25. So it needed to arrive by 4/1/25 at the receiver. I called and I was told it is not guaranteed service, but they should receive it by 4/2/25. Today it is 4/2/25 and the tracking number only shows that the package is created and received in Philadelphia, no other tracking. When I stopped at the post office yesterday, I was told who knows where that envelope is still sitting in a box, somewhere....If you have any important item, use UPS or Fedex, never had issue with them.

ZERO star! I’m the owner of the store on jewelers row and I’m doing allot of business shipping merchandise. Let me tell you that this location is very convenient but the SERVICE is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! It’s insane and unbearable do get anything done at this location. Two female employees refuse to scan our packages in, they’re saying that we should take it to another USPS location if we have more that 10 packages! And they make us go to the end of the line if we have few packages to scan in…. Seriously..

I would give zero stars if I could. I am at this USPS location right now. I have been waiting for over 20 minutes and there are 4 employees here, just standing there and staring at the three people in line. When I finally had my turn to check out, the woman who checked me out was rude abrasive and I am very disappointed with this location. I will never go back there.

I would give this branch zero stars if possible. The workers are beyond unhelpful. They are down right rude. Avoid this branch if you don't want to sour your day.

I don't know who the manager is there, but I have had the worst customer service experiences because the lady who always helps there is SO rude and has a horrible attitude. She never wants to help and responds negatively to everything. SHE EVEN YELLED AT ME!!! I really can't believe it, it's so frustrating.

The Customer Service Satisfaction Survey machine is broken, but that doesn't surprise me at all, because all customers would give only the worst reviews. I had never found such an unfriendly and listless staff at a post office. Not only do they seem to have no pleasure and desire to work, they take out their frustration on the customer. In addition, they refused to accept a 50 dollar note, which every baker accepts. Next time I will use a private postal service or courier again.
