At first was helpful and friendly and referred me over to UPS because what I was trying to ship was too big. After I checked out UPS and got their pricing and broke down my item to a smaller size, I came back for help and the same woman became rude and unhelpful as I was trying to figure out boxing size and pricing. A kind fellow patron looked at my stuff and estimated her self that it would be $35. The price at UPS was $45. I went back to UPS where they were friendly and helpful.

Horrible services, customer service is also horrible. You call and then have to listen to a message about covid tests and then the option I wanted not even listed. No way to get a real person on the phone. It's 2024 , all the insane prices you charge there should be a live chat option

I ordered a package and and it started out in New York. Going into customs and then it moved from there to Pennsylvania. When I don't even live in Pennsylvania. And it got delivered to some random person's house in Pennsylvania when I live in New York.

These reviews probably won’t do anything to change this place. But, it’s a shame that Rittenhouse has such a lousy post office. Long waits and unreliable hours. They seem to never open on time and frequently close well before the posted hours.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Busiest time of the year and they only had one person working! The guy was moving at a Glacial pace. The place was packed and I waited 35 min in line. Another lady came out and was rude as hell, she even grabbed my bag of packages and pulled it towards her to check how many I had and said “After 10 packages you gotta get back in line.” First of all don’t touch my personal belongings, ask. Secondly I’m not getting behind 30 people I’m just going to leave, you must be insane. There was also some loud banging that sounded like they were tossing packages with all their strength. There was even a young child in the back doing God knows what.Update: The first package she scanned is not on my receipt and I have been stressing out for the past hour trying to figure out what happened. Tracking is saying it’s not in transit and all my other packages are, so she didn’t even scan it correctly which is messing with my business. Never going back to this location. I really hope this is the worst postal office on the planet because I would hate for someone to go through anything worse. If I could rate it ZERO I would.

Best. Post office. Ever.Aside from the fact that I’ve never been stuck in a long line here ever, for over a decade now… I left an envelope of photo prints here by accident on Monday evening, but they were found and an employee there who held them behind the desk for a day and a half till I could come back to ask today. She is my hero right now, and this is my new favorite post office for forever. Thank you!

I would rather drive over the bridge to Jersey to go to a different post office than walk 2 mins to this location. If I could rate this location and its employees 0 stars I would. They’re so rude, they don’t do even the simplest part of their job, and they inconvenience you in about every way.

The rudest customer service person in the world works here. She has green hair and is always so so disgustingly rude to people. Someone could simply ask a question and she talks to them like they forced her to get out of bed, apply for the job and come to work. She doesnt deserve this job at all. I know she has been reported before and seemingly nothing was done because she is so nasty and rude

1. They will lock you inside at random as it gets closer to closing time. They will detain you for up to 20 minutes in my experience, until an employee in visibly dirty sweatpants and crocs saunters over to let out the increasingly angry crowd. 2. THEY 'LOSE' THE MAIL. EVEN CERTIFIED MAIL. FREQUENTLY. 3. If you try to complain about any of this to USPS online, you can get through several detailed steps in the form...but when you submit, it will say there's an error and send you back to the 'contact us' section to start all over. This hasn't been fixed in months. Just cough up the money to send anything important via UPS or FedEx.

No change of address forms. Told the PO cut back on supplies. Online change of address is down (and didn't work right when it wasn't) No other post offices answer their phones to check if they have forms (when you can find their direct number, that is) And the place is filthy. Smells like a litter box that needs cleaning. Disgraceful all around.

I have a PO Box here. I had a package delivered to the PO box. When I got the arrival confirmation email, I went to pick it up and the agent told me it was still processing at the 30th Street post office and to come back the next day. Today, I received an alert that it was being returned to sender because the post office could not match the addressee (me) to the address (my PO Box?)? I've been trying to reach someone, anyone, and of course the wait on the telephone is 68 minutes. I would not recommend this post office, USPS in general, or using a PO box.

Friendly service .... could use more people on the counter on Saturdays ... counter coverage could be better to reduce the long lines in the post office....

Staff was incredibly rude. This morning the customer in front of me attempted to get a money order and was talked down to by the only worker at the counter for taking out a credit card instead of a debit card to pay. Then, after charging the customer over $100, the worker realized the lockbox for money orders did not have a key. She had to go in the back to get someone else, who took the customer to a new counter and tried to charge them a second time when they had already paid. When the customer questioned this, they were told to relax as if they were being hysterical, and was given no verbal confirmation that the first payment of greater than $100 had been cancelled. Then, the second worker messed it up again and had to call a third worker. They were treating the customer as if it was their fault. I realize they are understaffed, but at the time, the customer in front of me and myself were the only 2 people in line. There was no excuse to be treating anyone that way. This situation took about 15 minutes, and in that time a line formed out the door before anyone else was helped.
