Kind and helpful staff - it was pretty empty when I went (4:30 pm on a Monday), no line. The women I worked with was very friendly, answered all my questions with ease, and was even patient with me when I made a mistake on the touchscreen.

There is a letter carrier who cannot do her job working out of the 40th Street branch. She has refused to deliver mail if someone is sitting on the steps or s walker is on her way
Today she didn't deliver mail or s package due to an animal. There is no animal in this building! The office refused to answer their phone! For the money these people are making, they should be doing their Jobs!!!

They cannot receive packages! Terrible attitude. They don’t even say sorry. Have no date for fixing it.
Edit: About a month later, I went again. They are receiving packages. And she was really nice! Redeemed!

The ladies at the desk were so, incredibly rude to me. I called customer service because a package had to be picked up and it was giving the address of pick up to be at the UCity post office and near the airport, so I went to the UCity one to check if it was there. They were immediately standoff-ish when I asked to pick up a package and cut me off while asking and told me to go to 3000 Chestnut. I tried to explain that customer service told me to go to that location to clarify where the package actually was but they would not hear it. The other lady in the other counter then stood up and started yelling at me: “I do the mail!! It’s not here!!” And I was patiently trying to explain that I would just like some help if they could check the system regarding where my package is. They just kept cutting me off and yelling so I left.

I really like this USPS location. Everyone is very professional and helpful. USPS as a whole is going through a lot of changes and struggles right now, which is why this location and others cannot offer their full range of services. None of the people working here or their management are at fault, it is completely out of their hands. Nonetheless, they were very helpful with helping me find alternative solutions to the unavailable services I needed. I really appreciate everything they are doing here to help customers as best as they can. Customers have been very rude to them and that is a shame! Show some respect to these hard working people.

I don’t know why this post office has so many negative reviews; personally I think this is one of the best post offices I have ever been to. The employees are so sweet and friendly (I’m genuinely confused as to the other reviews stating otherwise) I think the only time people leave bad reviews is when they don’t get their way and I felt the need to leave a good review upon realizing how wrong the reviews on here are. People, please have some respect for your mail workers they are only human.

Paid extra for priority shipping on an item and already multiple business after the anticipated arrival.. Today they marked it no access to delivery location... yet there is clearly access and I have been waiting all day for the package to arrive. Seems like a fraudulent practice to mark an item undeliverable when no attempt was made to deliver it...
