Mannnnnnn…listen!! I was just greeted with the rudest disrespect from this young lady that works there. The doors were locked: I pulled on the doors and this young lady opened the doors. I said “are you still open?” Her response… “are you coming in?”
I said . “I asked you a question “. She says again “are you coming in”. She totally ignored my question and couldn’t give a damn about me being upset. I’m not a kid. I’m almost 60 years old…from Philly. I know how things have changed. But she was RUDE! And should not be serving the public. She’s bad for any business. I’ll b back because I know Slim and the other manager. I hope y’all do what’s appropriate. Peace

Went there with my son to get sneakers. The only person that said anything at all was the greeter at the door. 5 employees and no other customers in the store and they completely ignored us. Asked to try shoes on and the woman getting them walked super slowly. They had what we wanted but the lack of eye contact or any kind of verbal interaction was really weird!

The employee that rung me up looked like she wanted to kill me. If looks could kill, I wouldn't be typing this. It was actually kinda scary. I might skip DTLR altogether now. I don't want to say it's race related but I'm not stupid. And I'm in my 40s from Philadelphia, I'm not naive or oblivious. Just be warned.

Zero!! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! Trust the reviews are real! I recently visited last weekend and I traveled to Philly for the Roots Picnic as a tourist. I was told to go here because I needed some hat options for the festival. They had what I needed. I came in was never greeted and there were at least 3 women working the floor, one definitely was a manager. No problem, so I walked to the register and placed my hats down. The manager who had dreadlocks was in a conversation with an employee on the floor. I stood there patiently waiting to be acknowledged about 5 steps away from her. She never acknowledged me. They stopped the conversation and then another girl who seen me standing there walks over and starts to whisper another conversation right next to me to the same manager and she leans in and whispers for about 5 minutes (no exaggeration) carrying on this whispering while intentionally not giving me eye contact. I was so confused and taken back, so I stood there patiently looking at them and then the manager grabs my items, ring me up and say how much it is. Never said hello, I paid and she said here and I took my stuff. No thank you or anything. It took all of my patience to not address the ignorance in that store! It was so baffling that it felt intentional. I did not rude and said nothing rude to get this behavior and even then how I was treated would not have been warranted. I stood at that register for at least 7-8 minutes in front of multiple employees and never got acknowledgment period, even once I spent my earnings that helps to cut their checks. I have shared this to all of my peers who travel to this area and I will be forwarding this to corporate after seeing that the other comment’s confirmed that the disrespect and rudeness is the norm at this store. If you are that ignorant you need to find something else to do. This is not for you. Will never go back and will make sure this is shared to upper management.

Negative 0 stars if I could. Sloppy and unprofessional service by the so called “employees” who get an attitude when you ask for assistance. Do not get me started on the employee that was pregnant and had dreadlocks (I do not know her name) but she got upset because I asked to try on different sizes of shoes. She rolled her eyes and huff and puffed all along the way. Who hired her?Is this store aware of the definition of customer service?Will never return. Too many amazing sneaker stores with quality professional classy employees who will serve customers with a positive smile.
