The man that worked there was very rude to me. I try to support black owned businesses but this is one reason why I'm skeptical to do so. I won't recommend this place to anyone I know.

This niche, unnoticeable small produce/ co-op or co-op like store offers fresh food. If it can go bad then it might be on discount or even free. Definitely a neighborhood store to help the community with some healthy food options potentially. I stuck out that the employee was wondering what I was doing at this venue until I said TooGoodToGo. I felt like I would've been a nuisance without this unexpected "carte blanche." In my goodies bag, I ended up with two cinnamon? Muffins, 1 or 2 corns, croissants, peach cups, carrots, mushrooms. Almost docked a star but the man was nice enough to take his time to pack me some goodies and then pointed me to the free table of things as well. A man on the side of the street was trying to say hi to me but I thought he was going to ask me for money. So I didn't reply. I knew that I was in a respectable neighborhood (Cobbs Creek) but I also know that I don't live here, I stick out, and it is Philadelphia proper. It felt awkward to look around inside the small store even though there were 10 min left. Everything seemed ready for closing up. I would've gotten there sooner but personal things came up. But I did still make it on time thankfully. I guess you could say, I really get around!

This place was such a breath of fresh air. I found it through the TooGoodtoGo app, and am so glad I did. I paid for a bag of leftover food, but was pleasantly surprised to be offered loads more for free. Apparently they give away healthy produce to the community daily! I was honored to support this business with my money anyhow, because access to fresh fruit and veggies is so important to our communities. Their bag of goodies blessed my family today and I plan on making this a frequent stop for my produce. The two men who work here are so kind and accommodating.

Absolutely positively the best service provider in West Philadelphia! A true man for the community is the owner. Always helping his neighbors both young and old. His outreach to seniors along with programs for the youth go beyond business! He is a giver the good brother. Eh... it's alright. While I love supporting local businesses this one is a bit off-putting with the trash in front of it and the nearly rotten free vegetables they haphazardly leave out for patrons. I suppose it's good in a pinch but I wouldn't come here as a first choice personally.

First I like to start about 5 talking about the owner a very incredible man great customer service. Its a pleasure just for us to have a health food store like this in our community. Mr Arnett Woods is not only the owner. He's a nationally recognized community leader and organizer.I came to him for help planning our 9th annual festival. And he donated soo much food and resources to the community. We still cant thank him enough. You have to visit this store you wont be disappointed. The food is very good, fresh and reasonably priced. Not only that, he took the time to teach me about healthy living and different things going on in our community. Mr. Arnett is a gentleman and a scholar.

Great place!!! Not only is this a market built by the youth in the neighborhood, but a community center that provides activities, events, jobs and job training.
