Pam and her shop are just delightful. My Smith Corona was repaired beautifully for an incredibly reasonable price. I'm very excited to start using it. And Pam is a joy to speak with. It's fun to just hang out. This place is how neighborhood shops used to feel...inviting, friendly, and knowledgeable. Support it so we see more come back!!

I found an old Remington Rand Noiseless typewriter at a yard sale. It was seemingly in beautiful condition, however, many of the keys didn’t work, and it needed a good cleaning. In searching for typewriter repair shops, W.M.P came up as the top search, and I can see why. When I met Pam, she was kind, helpful and very informative. Pam and her team did a wonderful, and reasonably speedy repair of my machine, and it is now, for lack of a better word, immaculate. It types beautifully, with no issues, and is clean with a brand new ribbon. I highly recommend going to W.M.P for all those who still love to use a typewriter. The collection of for sale typewriters at the shop is also of a colorful, and unique variety. Anyone should come take a gander at their stock, if they are looking to start writing with a typewriter. 5 stars all around.

What a breath of fresh air! So many used books priced at basically next to nothing. The owner was easy to communicate with and after we talked a while she totally understood what we needed done to refurbish our typewriter. Honestly, it even felt a little magical there. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Ty!

This little shop is so unique, it was like finding a little treasure in that area of Philly. Plus the owner was a gem of a person. If you find yourself in the area, stop in, you won't be disappointed. Plus she fixes and refurbishes old typewriters, which was our initial purpose of the visit. Very Very very affordable too.

I brought a typewriter in to be serviced recently; Pam and her team were so friendly, professional, and did such a good job. I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. I would definitely reccomend this shop for both services, ribbons, and I will definitely be coming back for typing lessons.Thank you so much to the whole team, but especially Pam! We love the typewriter so much!

Very Nice shop owner, She was very polite the whole time we talked. I had 2 typewriters brought in to be cleaned up and repaired. Prices were good and I will be able to use both typewriters for years to come.

WPM is a great local resource, with many options for people to interact with typewriters and learn more about them. The store also offers books and a quaint garden to relax in. Pamela is a very kind person who will spend time with you and teach you about anything you want to know about typewriters and the craft. The whole experience is always personalized and amazing. Whenever I go I feel taken care of.

Wow, this was such an experience! I wanted a typewriter and stopped by without an appointment, and Pamela spent 2 hours with me. The shop is amazing, with so many really nicely repaired and refurbished typewriters. Pamela has the most interesting stories and knows a ton about typewriters, so this was an overall delightful experience. She let me try out different options while trying to figure out what would be a good fit for me. I wasn't ready to make a decision and ended up coming back another day, where she spent 1 1/2 hours with me - I found the perfect typewriter, couldn't be happier. I also appreciate that the shop has nice warranty policies and a rental program. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was working with Pam and her team. My fiancé and I brought almost a century old type writer to Pam to restore for us to use at our wedding. We knew very little about the type writer in general, but knew it needed a lot of work. From start to finish, not only was Pam extremely generous and kind, she was super resourceful, communicative, and the restoration job was truly amazing. She answered all of our questions, and even took the time to show us all the components of our typewriter and how to use it which was so incredibly kind and so fun! We looked a lot of places prior, and I know we would never have received the type of customer service we received here at W.P.M. Thank you again Pam for all of your help!

I had a friend who sent in some typewriters refer me to this shop. Both of our experiences were not good. It's not easy to find a good, typewriter shop. Keep looking, this isn't it.

Terrible experience. Super crowded shop. Very unprofessional owner. It's a shame, I had such high hopes to find a good typewriter shop. There are better (much more expensive) options in Philly.

The good reviews are from years ago. Disappointing, incomplete, typewriter service, sub standard parts and taking three months for two machines. I've worked with several shops and WPM left the machine filthy, with visible rust. Catastrophically damaging another Hermes attempting a repair Travis didn't know how to perform.Grossly inflated prices and wasted time. The shop is wall to wall chaos. The front door will not fully open it's such a mess. It's unfortunate but this is a poor choice.
