“I haven't seen smoking bars since pre COVID but walking into this place for the first time to see a metal show and seeing I could have a drink and smoke a cigarette while watching the Phil's between bands was one of my highlights of this past year. Long live the Polish club ??????”
“the gem is the perfect place to catch a show! the sound in there is amazing. and the experience is so intimate. you really feel a connection with the artists that is so often lost these days.”
“Ceremony off site but reception at terrain! And I meannnnn, idk, what can’t I say about them?! Everything, and I mean everything, was amazing. Guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was (shoutout to the chefs!), drinks were amazing (people said the espresso martini was the best they’ve ever had!), and just their overall experience. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe how great the day was. My husband and I’s experience was also amazing from the moment we toured. We got Eileen as our event manager and she truly needs a review of her own but hands down the best person ever, she was so organized, and also very personable. She literally handled any and all hiccups that happened along the way (like when my photobooth didnt show up) and she found a solution instantly, I am so grateful for her. Fernanda my wedding attendant was also amazing, whole staff honestly was great. Terrain was the most perfect reception space for us and we (along with all of our guests) wish we could do it all over again!! It was truly the best day. Will be coming back to the cafe for many anniversary years to come ?”
“My husband and I cannot say enough positives about Loch Aerie Mansion. The mansion is incredibly beautiful and elegant. You can feel the history as you walk through the mansion. The team that works with Loch Aerie, including John Serock Catering, VB Ellen Design, and The Master’s Baker, were all phenomenal to work with and made the wedding of our dreams come true. The food was incredible, the decor and flowers were beautiful, and our cake was out of a fairytale (and absolutely delicious!). We had our ceremony indoors at Christmastime and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue. The bridal/groom suites are perfect for getting ready, and the transformation from elegant ceremony space to fun dance floor was perfect! We loved that our guests could move throughout the mansion during the night, so that older guests like grandparents and great aunts & uncles weren’t stuck in the room with the DJ and could sit on luxurious couches in the front rooms to chat and drink coffee. Our experience with Loch Aerie goes beyond the beauty of the space; the owner, Dana, has really created a community, and it has been great to enter that community and attend Loch Aerie’s annual Christmas party! Loch Aerie isn’t just a venue - it felt like it was “ours” for the night - and we were so excited for our friends and family to see it! Our wedding felt stress-free and we spent the entire day enjoying ourselves due to the well-oiled machine that is the team at Loch Aerie!”
“The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve was everything we could have dreamed of and more for our wedding day. From the very beginning, our wedding coordinator, Jordan made us feel genuinely cared for, paying attention to every detail and making the planning process feel effortless every step of the way. As the big day approached, Nikki, our incredible maître d’, was our calm in the chaos. She ensured everything ran flawlessly and allowed us to be fully present and truly enjoy every moment without stress. Her assistant Ashley and our bridal attendant Sydney were beyond attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. On top of all of that, our guests are still raving about the food — from cocktail hour to dinner, everything was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. The level of love, care, and professionalism shown by the entire team is something we will never forget. We truly couldn’t recommend this venue more — it made our wedding day absolutely perfect.”
“My wife and I have attended about a dozen band concerts over the past year. Good venue for live music. Downstairs area is a separate, beautiful room for private parties.
Would suggest taking seat cushions for your chairs for concerts over 1 1/2 hours. Alcohol and soft drinks at bar area. Food can be brought in or ordered from nearby restaurants.

“cool historical site / museum with community pop up events, and hiking trails. Pictured is my artwork in their November Fine Art and Crafts Show, Featuring regional artists.”
“The membership is superfun, the food is outstanding, the course has been updated, and growing in nicely. If you want a friendly atmosphere, good competitive golf, great meal(there is nothing on the menu that isn't delicious, and ability to stop in without notice, this is a great choice.”
“Absolutely gorgeous location. The venue coordinator was lovely to work with, and there are so many beautiful historic touches that make this spot so elegant. I love that the groom's suite is just as lovely as the bridal suite! I find that some venues do a beautiful job creating a bridal suite, and the grooms kind of get stuck in a broom closet, which especially doesn't work when you have two brides who need equal amounts of space to get ready. But this venue did a great job of giving both parties beautiful spacious locations to get ready.
The ceremony spot this particular couple chose is definitely a hike for guests, but if you have a guest list who can navigate a short walk, it's definitely worth it for its gorgeous ruins. I'd love to photograph here again!”
“Just passing through the area for an impromptu road trip and had to stop here because the building looked so historical and interesting from the outside— was greeted by Nancy, absolute doll thank you for the water— and spent a good hour at the least perusing this wonderful gallery/store/art center, there are about 60+ shops featuring local artisans, left with a little of everyone’s work, everything was well-priced and affordable which is hard to find with artisan shops now. Thank you Gabrielle for answering my questions about the history of this building, it used to be an inn and pub and was separated into the fine dining area for those with a higher budget and local fare in the lower level. Wealthier visitors would then ski at Spring Mountain nearby. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area, absolute gem!!”

“I have photographed many lovely weddings at the Duportail House in Chesterbrook, PA. This property is gorgeous for a wedding! Perfect backdrops for photography include an old barn, a porch with ornate fencing, a bridge with a creek, old trees, and manicured gardens. You step back in time in this 1740 farmhouse. The bride and groom had their cocktail hour before the ceremony, and then the ceremony behind the old barn. The light swept across the barn perfectly and was stunning on the bride's face during their vows. This charming venue is run efficiently and is a historical treasure. Perfect for an intimate wedding!”
“I met my Spring Hollow Golf league friends for Brunch today.
As always, the food was delicious.
We started by sharing the Creme Brule French Toast. It was fantastic.
3 of us had the Tempura Fried Eggs.
They are a perfectly cooked soft egg, then it is dipped in a Tempura batter and fried. When you cut into them the yolk is still perfect, they are served over a Tomato, Braised Leek Herb Cream Sauce. They are delicious.
The other two ladies had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and the Classic Eggs Benedict which they both enjoyed.
All of us enjoyed the Mimosas.
If you haven't been here, you have to try it. You won't be disappointed whether it is Brunch, Lunch or Dinner.”
“Potential renters need to understand that this is a special, historical, volunteer-run venue and they have specific reasons for what they expect, what they do and how they do it because they're a non-profit. Yes, there are three lavatories, the kitchen is in the basement, and it's best for intimate celebrations - they're upfront about these things. If the space doesn't work for your needs, there are plenty of Red Lobsters, VFW's, and country club spaces you can rent in the area. Don't blame them for being a non-profit with limited hours - the women running the space do the best they can while being full-time professionals and mothers. My daughter-in-law had her reception here years ago and it was lovely. She read the rules, asked good questions and reached out in a timely manner. No venue is perfect, but the Saturday Club is a piece of history and you should feel honored that it exists for you to make memories in.”
“We had such a fun experience with our family! We were 7 adults and enjoyed learning some cooking skills as well as eating the wonderful meal! Art was funny and adapted the menu for our vegetarians! Such a fun time together!”
“I cannot recommend the Anthony Wayne House more for any bride to be!
Heather made sure everything was organized & planned leaving the day of stress free! The space is gorgeous & there is so much you can do the space to make it your own!”

“Nicholas at the Loft at Landis Creek was wonderful! He helped me throughout the process of planning a bridal shower, and everything ran smoothly during our event in the Eagle Room. Everyone also loved the food and the cake!”
“Great venue - signage could improve- overflow parking was not clear! The facility itself is outstanding- the backyard is bucolic and pastoral. Very flexible for your needs!!”

“This Hilton property is phenomenal! Immediately upon entry, we were welcomed, and greeted. Was very thankful for my Hilton Status, and of course offered warm fresh cookies. Was asked numerous times if there was anything additional they could’ve done for me. Mrs Kay at the from desk let her true hospitality show! The room wasn’t as updated and tech savvy as I had expected, but the waitstaff and management running the restaurant was super courteous and also went above and beyond. Zero issues and would recommend this property anytime!! Thank you”
“Can't say enough wonderful things about our wedding here. Dawn, Richard, Chef Scott, and the whole team did an amazing job from the very start. The food was awesome, the coordination was top notch, and the physical space was exactly what we hoped for. They included a lot of thoughtful touches that made the entire evening flow very smoothly. Our guests raved about this place for days afterward. Bonus: the value was great for the price, plus the proceeds went to an organization we care about. Thank you to everyone involved for making our day so memorable.”
“My wife and I have lived here for going on 11 years. From day 1 we knew we made the right choice. Yes there are landscapers and snow removal contractors so we don’t have to do it. And yes there are contractors at times making necessary repairs. Don’t committed homeowners need to do this? With 1710 units clustered over 800 acres we have more open space not counting the golf course than most communities in Chester County. The amenities are amazing as are the vistas. Second best thing we did!”
“Let me tell you. We had a fantastic night. The food was perfect, the service was top notch and the price was more than fair. Highly recommend! Very clean establishment.”

“Okay hotel, good location, poor quality heating.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and gave me a lot of helpful advice. As an IHG Diamond member I was upgraded to a suite, which I really appreciated, and overall the suite was very decent. It had two big-screen TVs and a small kitchenette area, although there were no appliances other than a microwave and a coffee machine (no kettle). The bathroom had a shower but no bath.
I also stopped by the bar for a glass of wine, which was fine, and the staff there were very kind as well. The hotel has a small gym, business facilities, and a very good location right next to King of Prussia Mall (the fourth largest mall in America), which was a big plus for me.
Unfortunately, during the night I noticed the heating wasn’t working properly. Instead of switching on and off to keep the room at a steady temperature, it kept alternating between cold and hot air and it was quite noisy. I ended up turning it off, but then the room got pretty cold and I didn’t sleep that well. It was basically a choice between a cold room or a noisy room. Since it was the middle of the night, it didn’t feel like the right time to complain or ask to change rooms, so I just put up with it. I’ve noticed a lot of hotels in America seem to have similar heating systems.
Breakfast was open slightly late, which was fine, and the food was okay, although a couple of staff members were talking quite loudly to each other which felt a bit odd in the morning. Checkout was very smooth.
Overall, an okay stay with a great location, but the heating really let it down.”

“I always stay here when visiting Philadelphia. Only sad thing was the heater in the pool has been broken my last 2 visits. But attest they have a hot tub. If the heater was fixed it would be 5 stars”
“We had our son's 6th Birthday Party here and it was fantastic! Food was great and endless. Our Hostest Carly was fabulous! All the kiddos had fun! Total Hit! Thank you so much for an Awesome beginning to Chapter 6!!”
“Went for a karate event. Nice rooms, they charged a lot of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bar was nice to relax at after events. The sad thing about the event was that we are martial artists and are bearfooted, and they never cleaned the carpets before we came it was gross. The could of vacuumed.”

“My husband and I got married at Loch Aerie Mansion (across the street) and stayed at the Sheraton Great Valley. We had a room block at the hotel and also had our after-party in the downstairs ballroom. Everything went very smoothly! Kerry was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and helpful. She was easy to work with and made the room block process easy. Currently, they are under renovations, so their kitchen/bar was unavailable for our after-party. Kerry was able to help us with making alternative arrangements for our after-party for a very reasonable price. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The Presidential Suite was incredible and spacious. We were able to have many members of the wedding get ready in the suite comfortably, along with hair and makeup artists. For the wedding, the shuttle was very convenient for the wedding party and guests to use. The driver was incredibly kind!”
“Very nice hotel for the money, the rooms are always clean, and if I have any issues they always address them immediately, Raj and Vyshu are the best host, they both are very helpful and patient. For the price you can't beat it”
“We were so incredibly happy with everything on our wedding day. Everyone at Franklin Commons and Drexelbrook were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond in making our day special. The venue, food, and cocktails are still being raved about every time we talk with someone who was at the wedding. Everyone was so attentive to our needs and wants, especially Valentina. Working with both Kim and Hannah felt more like being with family then a strictly professional relationship, which was so important for us when choosing vendors. I am so glad we met Hannah at the wedding expo and will forever recommend Franklin Commons and Drexelbrook!”
