The University Club is a beautiful and posh club in the heart of Oakland, with amazing architecture and a beautiful, classy, and elegant setting. It is a perfect venue for weddings and other events, offering great views and being steps from campus landmarks. The staff is wonderful, friendly, good, kind, attentive, and professional, providing a warm welcome and making events easy and stress-free. The culinary team is excellent, with a genius chef serving delicious, quality, good, and plentiful food, including a beautiful cookie table, at inexpensive prices. The venue is highly recommended for a wonderful experience. While generally excellent, a minor note is that some areas can be very hot, though issues brought to management are dealt with immediately.
Such a beautiful setting. I was invited as a participant of the Somma study. The place was set beautifully. Everyone was friendly, the food was good and plentiful. I want to thank everyone that made this event so wonderful.

A posh club with excellent food and drinks and good staff. The architecture is amazing however the reception area’s were very hot making me and nearly everyone around me uncomfortable. The banquet room was cooler but the reception area was not. That is the one star deduction
