Concept Art Gallery is an excellent local art gallery and auction house in Regent Square, established in 1972. It is a thoughtfully curated gallery with beautifully hung exhibitions that are worth a visit. The gallery represents many established regional, national, and international artists. It hosts regular live auctions every couple of months centered around themes like Modern and Contemporary Art & Design, Estate Antiques and Fine Art, and Single Owner sales. These auctions feature excellent items, including antique art, 19th century oil paintings, hand painted watercolor maps, watches, sculptures, and furniture. Bidders can participate in person, by phone, absentee bid, or online. The staff are super, friendly, knowledgeable people and a pleasure to work with, providing excellent service. The business also offers in-house insured archival framing services and professional art handling, with very happy results. Concept excels as a gallery, auction house, and framer, and has been an asset to Pittsburgh's arts community for decades. It is a favorite gallery for many.
A fantastic new addiction! Wonderful opportunities for unique and gorgeous art, furniture, a little of this, and a little of that. The super friendly and knowledgeable people who work there are absolute gems! Can’t wait for the next auction.

Another well run auction, with an interesting range of items up for bid and a friendly and competent staff. IMHO, this Pittsburgh-based site brings a warmer vibe and much better chances to win good art at good prices.
