Constant outages, terrible customer service, they won’t reimburse you for lost food or the meals you have to go out for when your power is out for 3 days, no rebate programs for generators. They are a truly useless company and make me regret ever moving here.

Duquesne light company is the worst of the worst of the worst providing no electric but very expensive electricity 98% of the time my electric in the house is out and the charges are phenomenal

Bill’s too high and I have no other options for electric in my area. Bill was $80 a few years ago. It’s now jumped to over $150 and keeps increasing every month, even with minimal electric usage on budget billing.

if I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. not only do they regularly have power outages, but also apparently water outages as they hit our waterline and will be without water for multiple hours thanks to them. they truly cannot do anything right.

This company can't keep the electricity flowing. They charge too much because of this. I truly wish there were a real second option because of this too. They also NEVER take ownership of their failures in the appropriate manner. They should credit the customers for a free day of electricity any time this occurs, they don't. So ultimately I hate this company.

Still waiting!!! This grid is well maintained, but their customer service is terrible. Love my solar company, never had to wait more than a few rings for them to answer.

Extremely terrible customer service. Minimum wait times are 1.5 to 2 hours on phone and no call backs despite choosing the option. Frequent over billing. No formal complaint options on website or app. No email provided for that purpose. Duplicate billing for a cycle already paid for. No details of service dates for the charges on the bill. This company should not be allowed to exist.
Please try calling the business line. Might work. I think they only have one person in the office taking care of everyone.

Disappointed in poor service. I moved units and my bill quadrupled due to FOREIGN LOAD. Per DLC web, 100% of that bill should go to the building owner until fixed and verified by DLC. I've tried to file their online energy theft form, it doesn't work. I've emailed multiple times with no response. I finally got a rep on the phone after waiting 2.5hrs & she didn't seem to have a clue & said the business dept would be calling me. It's been 1.5wks with no call back.
That rep did inform me that DLC has not been out to inspect any of the rewiring and meter tinkering that the owners electrician has been doing. Which of course the owner claims otherwise. Ugh.

During the application process, this company made two mistakes and I had to go without electricity for a week. There is no compensation or quick processing. Worst company I've ever seen
