“Matthew fixed my destroyed Google Pixel 6 screen just a day after I came in in a panic. Couldn't find the correct manufacturers screen online anywhere (phone is too old now). Eventually managed to find a suitable replacement screen online and got it ordered and my phone fixed in less than 24 hours for a very fair price. Absolute lifesaver. Highly, highly recommend! Hope you enjoyed the cake, guys. Very much deserved. 😊”

“I went to them to get a PS5 HDMI port fixed ,They were great, when I first went down I thought it was just the hdmi port but then he brought to my attention that I NEED to get my Liquid Metal replaced and it wasn’t some money grab that these other repair companies say to you, he was very transparent and helped me understand why the Liquid Metal could also be a problem for my ps5. I had a great customer service experience. Alvin was very transparent when it would be ready or if something else came up, he was also very helpful for any additional advice we”

“I'd give this place a ten out of ten if I could!

I had noticed my laptop wouldn't charge while connected to its charger. I took it to a very well-known tech shop, but after 10 minutes, was told that the motherboard was fried. Their recommendation was that I could replace the motherboard, but it would be in my best interest to just get a new laptop instead.

Dismayed, I put my laptop away and resigned myself to researching new laptops, even though I knew I wasn't in a position to buy one any time soon.

On a whim, a friend of mine found Yinz Break I Fix, and went to get her laptop checked out. I figured it wouldn't hurt to get a $50 diagnostic for mine, even if I would be told the same thing as the previous tech place (I assumed).

Right away when we went in, the atmosphere was very relaxed and everyone was super nice. They looked at my friend's laptop, and made sure it was running great. After about 15 minutes, Jason said he would replace the battery in mine and see if that would fix the problem. After about a day or so, I was able to pick it up.

When I went home, I saw that the charge wouldn't move from 0%, so I called right away. They suggested I drop it back off at the store. After doing so, they called me back and explained that I had a burnt capacitor in my motherboard, which is why it wouldn't take any charge.

Since nothing else was wrong with the laptop, they gave it about a 70% chance that changing the capacitor may fix the problem. I figured those odds were definitely better than zero, so I hoped for the best.

These wonderful folks actually ordered the new capacitor and replaced it! And afterwards, my laptop is running as smooth as ever, with the battery charging perfectly.

It amazed me that the very well-known tech shop didn't even tell me about the burnt capacitor, but rather try to get me to buy a whole new laptop instead. But Yinz Break I Fix were able to find the problem and fix it right away!

The cost was beyond fair, and they were very giving, honest and communicative. I absolutely recommend them, and will be going back with any additional tech issues I may have in the future.

Thank you Jason and the whole Yinz Break I Fix crew. Y'all saved my laptop and my wallet!!”

“I literally have to give this man 5 stars. I had a receiving chip on the motherboard of my key fob dangling off. I couldn't drive my car for 2 days because I couldn’t find anyone willing to do a soldering job on a micro chip for a key fob. I called every place you can think of. I was so frustrated I considered spending $200-$300 on a brand new key fob along with the programming. This guy here saved me a few hundred dollars. The job nobody was willing to do, the job uBreakiFix told me would take 2 days, this guy fixed in under 10 minutes. I was able to start my car with no problem. This guy is the truth and I high recommended him. I can’t thank him enough.”
