From start to finish this site has been wonderful. Its drive in covered loading area is a must with the Pittsburg weather conditions. The staff is very helpful, return calls promptly and notify you if there are any issues, holiday changes, etc. The facility is clean, dry and no rodent activity. I would never go anywhere else.

This Guardian Storage used to be an affordable place with onsite staff and a retail store to purchase boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc. In the past few years, they closed the retail store, got rid of onsite staff (including managers), and have jacked up prices 10% - 20% each year. Since I started leasing a space here, the cost has increased 81%. Every time I call to discuss the price increases, I'm told that John the manager will call me back. He never does. I'll be looking for another storage place. I recommend others do the same.

Worst place ever!!! I got a storage unit back in June and I only needed it till Aug. Beginning of August I called to cancel my unit, not only did I get charged for September! BUT IT IS NOW OCTOBER and I still haven’t received my September refund that I had to check up by calling 4 times BUT I GOT CHARGED FOR OCTOBER. Don’t get a unit with these guys they will rob you for your money.

I am very happy to provide this review for John who works at the Guardian Storage.We were supposed to vacate the Storage Unit the day before the Fall Semester started but we couldn't enter the building since we lost the access code. After having spent an hour trying all sorts of codes we drove to the closest Guardian office a few miles away and met John who was about to leave home after closing the office (on a Sunday at 4:00PM).We explained him the situation. What truly stands out about John is his willingness to go the extra mile (in his personal time) to help a customer in problems. After doing his job, he drove to the Bloomfield Office and patiently waited for us to vacate the unit.This selfless act of John helped us move out and head back home that evening (instead of staying at a motel overnight and vacate the unit the next day). I really appreciate Guardian Management for having people like John in their team.

I moved out of my storage space here a few months ago after renting a unit from them for more than a year. I can truly say that Matt and all of his staff are amazing, their prices are fair, and the entire building is kept in excellent condition. It is very easy to move in and out: the place has all the different kinds of dollies you might need, and the loading dock is easily accessible. Highly recommended.

Staff was very friendly, there is a big space in the back of the building where you can park your car for loading or unloading. The process of actually getting my things into the storage was quick and efficient, and the staff were quite flexible as well.

Easy to store and retrieve your belongings with the equipment provided. Tough place to navigate a larger truck though.

I am beyond angry about this company. I reserved a space 5x5 on Thursday night. I was told to go to the storage facility on Friday to sign everything. I got there before my appointment time and realized I needed to go across town to their local office because no one works at the one where I reserved a space. The people I talked with claimed everything would be ready in two days. I was able to drop some stuff off on Saturday because a nice guy had a working access code. Now with it being July 5th the code still doesn’t work. Also the unit I got had a nasty plastic bag in it glass shards and a fork. I’m not leaving until I am sure the lock works and I’m issued some type of refund especially if I come back in a month and find all my belongings dumped out because everyone wants this space.Edited Review: I was able to get this situation resolved after a lot of back and forth communication. I just wish there was a person stationed at the location my stuff is stored at. Definitely in future will allow more time between moves so I’m sure I can get in and out.

Just used Guardian Storage for the first time, and I can say that it was a great experience. I was offered a water after getting inside. The manager helped get my unit set up and made it such an enjoyable experience. From personable conversation to getting my unit leased, all I can say is thank you.

It was a little challenging to set up the reservation in May because the colleges increased demand, but once I did, Matt made everything easy and actually fun. Matt is great to work with and he deserves a raise for managing two very busy facilities.

I've paid for a small space 5x5 and reserved late last Thursday. No one is picking up the phone at a different location my code is not working. I can't get up to the floor I'm at and just paid a hefty bill. I'm worried someone is going to take my stuff even though it's locked up because there are just cameras and no human to help with being locked out over this hot and rainy weekend. A real storage until would offer more customer service and answer the phone when called. I would like a refund.
