We went here for family photos. We were late and communicated such. The reminders for our appt were great. Directions were great. Photographer was great. Elevator is broken.

No employees in the store to help you, no signs leading to online pick up counter... CUSTOMER SERVICE is a joke at this store. The online order pick up employee at the counter is extremely rude. I will never shop here again. Waste of TIME DO NOT SHOP HERE!

It's the only one left in the area but it's still a bargain for home goods. They have the best deals on towels, sheets and home items. The sales team was very kind and helpful.

This JCPenney department store offers a large selection of clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, linens, furniture, etcetera. During my recent visit, I decided to purchase a few items that were on sale and clearance for very low prices. The cash register that was closest to me was not open, so I walked across the store to a different cash register. The cashier quickly and politely served me.

On Mother's Day, a day meant for celebration and joy, my family's experience at the JC Penney in Ross Park Mall was anything but. We visited the store with the intention of making it a special day for my wife, a mother of four. Unfortunately, it turned into a distressing ordeal due to the poor service and inappropriate conduct by the staff.
Firstly, we were taken aback to find the store unexpectedly closed in the morning, causing us to rearrange our plans. We returned later, hoping for a better experience, but were faced with a lack of assistance and visible staff. The two employees we did encounter at the jewelry counter, Tiana and another who referred to herself ambiguously as Kit or Kip, were not just unhelpful but outright dismissive. Tiana responded to my wife's simple query about checking out with an eye roll, and Kit/Kip misinformed us about other registers being open.
The situation escalated from poor service to an unacceptable confrontation. When my wife, clearly frustrated but not aggressive, placed her shopping items on the counter due to the lack of service, she was aggressively told she was banned from the store and falsely accused of assault. The threat of a baseless police report for assault on such a day, in front of our children, was shocking and caused significant emotional distress to my wife and our oldest daughter.
It's heartbreaking that what should have been a joyful family outing on Mother's Day was marred by such an experience. This is not the level of professionalism or kindness you expect from a well-known retailer like JC Penney. We are deeply disappointed and hope that our experience can serve as a call for better customer service and staff training in handling situations with the sensitivity they warrant.
I cannot recommend this JC Penney location based on our experience, and I urge potential customers to consider this review when planning their special occasions.
As I noted in my Yelp review, I have a photo of one of the staff members hiding their name tag (not posted as I don't want to Dox them) and the other hid their tag and ran away.

Got no issues with the employee’s I hate to see how it is now then when it was before the downsize it’s just so sad it’s a really nice store with great people who work there

Kit helped me in the beauty department. She was nothing short of AMAZING. Very knowledgeable and fun to work with. Her personality was pleasant and wonderful. The conversation just flowed and she showed me so many perfumes. I came back to purchase two with her. All of her recommendations were great it was so hard for me to choose. I live in Beaver County but I’m willing to travel to experience that great service I received from her!

The store has really gone down hill. The bathrooms are disgusting. The sinks in the lady's room do not work. Paper towel dispenser is being held closed by duct tape. Terrible selection of clothes. Nothing organized.
