LOOM is a locally owned fabric store in Pittsburgh with a definite place of honor. It is a beautiful shop with a wonderful selection. The store does not stock as much apparel fabric as some others, but its home decor selection cannot be beat. It also has a decent selection of quilting cottons, a curated array of vintage goods, and a dazzling buttons and trim collection. There are unique patterns and various tools, some old school. The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful, accommodating, helpful, and enthusiastic, often going above and beyond. Visitors recommend giving a call to make an appointment to visit the well-organized shop. It is a can't-miss for any Pittsburgh sewist or interior designer.

One of my favorite stores! Beautifully curated space and you never know what interesting things you'll find. John has such a passion and knowledge of textiles and he truly understands my vintage ribbon obsession. It's a delight to shop here.
