I was always eager to shop this MACY'S store at Christmas, as the beautiful decor would put me in the holiday spirit. VERY disappointed this year! Only a few sparse trees or a garland! Check out VON MAUR...the decorations are stunning and you immediately want to go in that store!! Better step it up MACYS!!!!

so apparently you can spend thousands a year here at Macy’s but cannot sit here when the cafe closes because they rope it off? Why can’t people who are waiting for their family to finish shopping in Macy’s….again, spending lots of $$$ especially at Christmas time? Bah Humbug! btw, The worker who was closing the cafe told me I cannot sit there because it was closed.
And actually the new department store Maur, is way more accommodating!:)

Sad. Customer service just gets worse. I was bumped today in the jewelry dept ...BECAUSE I'M A MAN. Isnt that right. Well, I'll take my jewelery money to Tiffany's at Ross Park instead then. Macy's if you disappear like Bed Bath & Beyond....IT WILL BE NO LOSS.

This location has a great selection of products and most of the staff were wonderful. I would avoid being checked out by whomever was working the big counter on the third floor though, as they were all nearly catatonic. Trying to complete a transaction for three items with Kathy was extraordinarily frustrating.

Edit: Store is shining, didn't have to look for employees at check out. Used their in store pick up, it was seamless.

I would NEVER recommend anyone shopping at macys. Nor will I EVER spend my money there again. I bought a guess purse from Macys online and had it shipped to the south hills village mall. got an email that it was ready for pick up. I was handed a small box at pick up and opened it in the mall. Not what I paid for but instead cheap tuna-ware to take its place. The mall denied my return and told me I had to call the online customer service number. I spoke with Rose V. Who was not helpful. I called 2 days later and spoke with John V who essentially said it was my fault they shipped the wrong order and said I need to collaborate on my end and return the tuba-ware via ups. Once Macys gets their return they would think about processing my refund or shop out the correct item. The rep denied me speaking to a manager 3 times and then placed me on hold and never came back on the line or connected me with a manger. Very unprofessional. I will be returning all items purchased within the order and never shop with this store again.

It's a shame how our department stores have changed.... everything is neat and tidy. Lights are overwhelmingly bright, staff nonexistent.
