About Mellon Spray Park
Mellon Spray Park is a fun park and a great spot near Shady Side. It is one of the best parks in the area with a beautiful vibe during summers when kids play in the water. It features a spray park and water play area, plus a decent playground with lots of safe apparatus for kids of varying ages and skills. There is plenty of open space to run, play ball, or hike, along with a basketball court and baseball field. A fence around most of the playground provides peace of mind. There are benches and restrooms, though the restrooms can sometimes be a complaint regarding cleanliness and working stalls. Usually not too packed, it is a nice choice for families. Free off-street parking spots are available. It is right across the street from the main Mellon Park area, a beautiful park with lots of community events. Sometimes a snack guy is there with hot food and drinks.

Great spot near Shady Side to do all sorts of people watching while the little ones run around. There was a snack guy there with hot food and drinks for those in need.

Fun park, lots of safe apparatus for kids of varying ages and skills. Some off street parking. Plenty of open space to run, play ball, hike. Right across the street from the main Mellon Park area, a beautiful park with lots of community events
