The Pittsburgh Glass Center is a nonprofit public-access education center, art gallery, and state-of-the-art glass studio. Took my first glass class there a few weeks ago. The staff teaching the class were so talented, friendly, and great and great at teaching first-timers. The gift shop here is also very cute!

It's a really neat place where you can go and make ornaments and paperweights, etc, and learn about the glass making process.
