The Pittsburgh Glass Center is a nonprofit public-access education center, art gallery, and state-of-the-art glass studio. The gallery space always has unique shows, displaying beautiful handmade glass pieces and practical objects crafted by local artists. It is an incredible resource for finding a great gift. Visitors can participate in a variety of workshops, from ornament making and glass sculpting to date nights and beginner classes. The workshops are cool, entertaining, and informative experiences. The friendly, helpful, and passionate staff and instructors explain the process, science, and technique very well, making participants feel a part of creating their own glass art. The center is highly recommended for groups, individuals, or simply stopping by for a free visit to learn a thing or two. Many guests plan to return for more classes.

This was the thing I have never done birthday gift to me. I really enjoyed my morning playing with glass. I will do this again however I enjoyed doing the hands on class most. The check in was easy and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was beautiful.
